fabled 6 piece bonus
The offensive stance bonus (+10%) crit doesnt show in persona, i haven't had a chance to parse this to test, anyone know if it is actually applying or if the bonus is broken? it does show +10% as a green effect on my offensive stance tooltip

Its crit bonus, not melee crit. Examine your CA's and look at your critical multiplier when in offensive stance.

It changes your base melee crit damage mod from 1.3 to 2.3 I believe.

No no no it's from 1.3 to 1.4. The 10 is a decimal. Every 1 crit bonus is 1 percent, IE 10 is 10 percent.
Normal crit is from max dmg +1, (100% dmg +1) up to max damage x 1.3(130% dmg), so any crit bonus you have is added as a 1 percent increase to the high end of your crits. if you have your 6 set bonus in o stance, plus lets say... 3 crit bonus from some jewely item, you could go as high as 143% damage on a crit, but still on the low end of the spectrum, could still end up with less than your highest hit, IE could be still max dmg +1.
Crit bonus is nice but overrated. Even if you had a crit bonus of 30, you still wouldn't see any benefit on most of your attacks.

Okay, thanks for the correction, but when you get to items that say, +3 Melee Crit Bonus, how much does that honestly increase it? Shouldn't it move it to like, 1.3-1.6? or 1.3 - 1.33?

+3 melee crit bonus would raise 1.3 to 1.33. Again, not very much. Small bonuses like that are really only noticeable on your higher CA's like Gut Punch and Dev Fist, when you will see yoru self get a new high hit.

its just a little added dps, not like we have many other options for armor to wear that would make u wanna take that over the set gear (other than avatar).

Crit bonus does effect auto atk, combat arts (no longer procs). It is pretty significant at this point in that game considering most players are well into thier haste/dps diminishing curves and well into crit/double atk %.
But the fact is crit bonus is heavily dependant on your crit %.

Personally I'll take crit bonus, but won't go out of my way for it. I did a big study on it awhile back and found it to be almost insignificant. Basicly, using a training dummy, I'd kill 10 of them, then look at a zonewide and take one CA, Front Kick for example. Out of all it's crits, 60% of the crits were the minimum crit (max +1). Less than 5% of the crits I had were actually higher than the 1.3, so all in all, very few hits were able to take advantage of the crit bonus.
I'm sure the higher you get and teh wider your crit margin gets, the more hits will land in the higher range... It seems to be one of those stats that becomes significantly more valuable the more of it you have. I bet next expansion we'll see ALOT more of it.
