Did bruiser dps go up with gu 52 or did it remain the same as before but sk's and the like lost dps?

Obano I hate to hear that, but my bruiser is no longer being used on raids and is solely an everyday norrath solo quest runner when there are quests to run. My swashbuckler is the in demand class that has replaced my bruiser.

All in all my bruiser is the class that at one time was most rewarding but the since rok the bruiser class seemed to start loosing it's luster to groups and even more so as a raid class. Tso has made a laughing stock of the average brawler trying to find groups and a raiding guild.

I do hope that bruisers (brawlers in general) get abilities that give them back the luster they once had so that maybe this stigma they have will wear away.

that's strange i was always on par with the SKs i played with as far as tanking goes...in a lot of cases better.

If you take 2 equal tanks 1 SK 1 Bruiser..
pair them with 2 equal skilled players the SK will out tank and out dps the Bruiser anytime..

But a well played bruiser can both out dps and out tank someone who just got their lvl 80 full T3-T4 shard geared SK but has no clue how to play it..

Skills > gear in MANY cases, just not all..

I always said I would change guilds before I did toons but on Vox there isn't many options. Down to 3 raid guilds now. So I understand your decision.

Not true anymore. GU 52 leveled the field a bit. SK is still a beast but bruiser should be higher on single target dps than SK now.

What exactly did we get and/or what did others lose that helped us out? I didnt really see anything in the patch notes. Maybe I missed it. Havn't noticed much of a DPS increase yet

blade chime is melee now so crits based on melee crit.

blade chimes is a big fucking deal too. i didnt realize that till i started playing a melee class lol, especially one that has ass for haste

i agree any Bruiser worth a damn loves this class and has spent a lot of time and effort becoming who they are... dps too high and the scouts and mages bitch tank to well now the platers are pissed so we kinda get stuck in limbo cause SOE listens to everyone else too much but I personally love the challenge of the black sheep in the family. And Crabbok I hope they do give you some answers on our future or atleast listen to your ideas and I hope you dont get lost in the sea of "hey you nerfed my proc gear" that they are gonna get swamped with

Yeah Im hoping we're the new SK. I think itll happen eventually, just depends on when. So i keep my bruiser around and only semi dusty.

In my perfect world they would consolidate classes, turn brawler into a DPS archetype like scouts, and DPS equal to a good rogue crappy predator.

Martial arts isnt a good tanking mechanic :\
