Another Bruiser Down

My guild is opting for the same path as many others.....eliminating the bruiser slot from raids due to lack of usefulness. They are subpar tanks and subpar dps with only 1 raidwide buff that is semi-ok.

Why take a bruiser when an SK is equal dps and a better tank. Why take a bruiser when you can take any other dps class and have them do more dps.

After raiding for a while it becomes very apparent why there are so few higher end bruisers.....noone wants to be busting ass dpsing and no matter what you do be behind any of the other dps'rs.

Soo....time for bruiser to goto farming toon! Go time on the troub.

Sad...really love the toon but refuse to feel like a burden to a raid group.

strange timing. As of yesterday bruisers have essentially been beefed up on dps, relative to other classes.

Shadowknights imho are finally where they should be dps wise.

Yeah so far, they seems better. Still able to spike really high especially on AoE fights, but in the long haul we should be higher than them.

Yup, proc nerf really hits crusader, especially sk much. There is no reason to give up bruiser for sk unless you are going to tank in every encounter in raid.

DPS wise, bruiser > sk on single target now.

Cus on the european servers bruisers dps still sucks.

Strange timing indeed. Bruisers went down just as every class did. I still can't keep up with the Zerker or SK and forget about keeping up with the swashbuckler or brig.

File this under too little too late. My bruiser is pretty much retired from raiding already might as well make it official.

I dont see how people dont honestly love being a bruiser. I keep on trying new ways to improve my dps almost everyday, and find out new techniques. Currently, and for the past months i have been top DPS ZW by atleast 2k in my raid force, and I can tank just as well as any other tank thanks to our survivability. In Palace our ZW might be 100k which might be ok, but I beat everyone.

Has little to do with weather or not you "love being a bruiser", and has a whole lot more to do with weather or not your guild loves having a bruiser vs having some other more beneficial class.

And Obano, Sorry to hear that man, you've been helping out the bruiser community for a long time. Hopefully I'll have some good news after fan faire regarding the future of our class.
