Re: Diety
Zek or Anashti... Zek is most favored, and rightly so, while Anashti seems built more for Shadow Knights. They both offer tank reactives and DPS buffs for miracles and blessings, so I don't think you can go wrong in either.
However, I'm currently on the Anashti side. I like the blessings Power From Beyond (+10% base spell/melee damage) and Hand of Death (~400 disease damage for each successful attack) and--mentioned earlier--the miracle Undying Fury (spell/melee crit +25%, +20% primary weapon flurry, and spell DA +33%).
Stacking +10% base spell damage with three T3 hybrid pieces (+14% base spell damage) can help make procs from gear and especially group buffs deal more damage. Then I can stack Undying Fury with Battle Cry and combine it with Chi and Knockout Combination II.
I wouldn't use Hand of Death unless your MC is still below 50% and you're still trying to gear up. If this is the case, then it's safe to assume that most of your CAs are not Masters, so you'll probably get more out of it rather than bumping up base CA damage by 10%. Think about it; most of our CAs don't do more than 4000 damage, and Hand of Death procs on any successful attack, including auto-attack and range attack.
I like Zek's blessing Zek's Rending because that 10% reuse is quite attractive, but the miracles fall short for me. Speaking strictly for raids, I'm rarely in situations where I'm up against 10 targets at once to use its full potential, and I would feel like I threw away favor points for doing 4 to 7K damage on a single target (or 12 to 21K total for the typical three target encounters). I certainly don't use blessings/miracles in group settings, so unless it's Palace entrance trash (or the ambushing mobs before Penta/Ulta), I don't see myself using Zek miracles.
