100% agree on that.

Med heal is ok, but it isn't anything special, for example in that flame fight it procced 3 times total for 12k heals. I would think bruisers should have the advantage in raid tanking physical type mobs with the extra stone skins and monks might have a slight advantage with magic mobs with our self ward. I can't say that for certain though since I don't play bruiser. As far as avoidance goes monks do have an advantage. On the 25% strikethrough question I think that is probably a correct number, usually on raid mobs without a tank avoid on me I am avoiding about 60% or so add in templar avoid and stoneskins and it is 70-75% so it would seem right that 25% of hits are getting struck through.

What we have instead of a self ward is a 3 shot stoneskin that only absorbs magical attacks called Stone Deaf. Its far better imo than the ward because it absrobs massive ammounts of damage, ask most of the raid bruisers here, when the raid wipes we live a lot of the time because "fail effects" will get absorbed by stone deaf.
edit: further example, gynoks death touch is absorbed by stone deaf. when i tank gynok i get a jcap or roa and can absorb and then parry every other death touch.

I have another question for monks then...
Your mythical gets a strikethrough componement on it, and since tanking is also keeping aggro, what do you think of it ?
I ask that because as a bruiser, if i get to tank anything in defensive stance, i NEED dirge+templar or a warden's buff to acutally hit my target decently. What do you think about your ability of striking through ? Is it that efficient ? I remember our monk (Vass) was getting quite good numbers out of it when tanking Hate back in RoK.
How would you rate that capacity we bruisers don't have as for aggro (landing CAs and rescue CAs)

I also absorbed Maestro's Aria with it.
Ward is good too cause you can drop it on someone else if i remember corectly.

Strikethrough is huge when tanking.

Monks also get slightly more mit than we do with their myth vs our AA... but not by much.
All in all, bruisers shoudl have the survivability edge now with our TSO aa's, but mob's having strikethrough is crippling that edge. The extra 100% deflection ability seems more and more useless every day to me lol.

Re: Can we raid tank? definitly, but what !?
They should give brawlers an exclusive debuff that will reduce mobs strikethrough by like....hummmmmmmmmm 50% :D
I'm sure every other tank will reconsider twice who to take in his raid roster with that kind of capacity.

That would suck in pvp monk vs bruiser
