Well, the last couple of weeks i've been 1 grouping in PR(yeah i know the zone is old skool) for cash with some friends. you figure about 20p per chest split 6 ways for the first 5 mobs goes a long ways, not to mention i mute the gear and sell the masters and then do a plat split with some of my friends.

We've tried the adventurer battle quite a few times but we usually just come up short by a small mark dps wise or the ludmilla breaks loose and kills someone important. However for the first ever last night,

Splorchkin(dirge)[me again]
Annalai(illusionist)
Anenemy(Necro)
Spahnlie(fury)
Ubertuff(Templar)

completed the entire zone and it simply made me fuckin happy as hell. Just saying, it was difficult as fuck, but it was fun shit.

The message where you see vivify's group has left was a level 72 toon of spahnlies. She was dead alone in group 2 just picking up AA so she doesnt count :D

Gratz dude, I really do SOE comes through with the tiered raid encounter thing of easy medium hard so that people are able to do things like this in current content.

I expect "easy" raid encounters to be no harder then WoE at most. I expect medium to be no harder then tombs at most including Gynok as the hardest medium encounter. And I expect hard to be well YIS difficulty. Is a lot of work and the raid developer has to know wtf he is doing to get it right.

hosted my first ever pick up raid on leviathan. Went in with absolutely no fluids and 3/4 of the raid had no idea what the hell was going on, but the zone went flawless and i got a free guild hall trophy :D

I wanted to switch from mystic to bruiser as a main but it never panned out...just no need for my bruiser most of the time. So I really only got to go to two raids with my bruiser and she never got well-geared or AA'd. The raid night for my mythy, and then I OT'd Palace one night because both of our tanks were gone. Was able to OT Switchmaster with the following gear and almost no raid experience on her: EverQuest II Players - Profile for Neith

Let's see, what did I have...a mystic, an inq, a dirge, a coercer, and some random dps, probably assassin or swash.

We can survive anything but my problem is in defensive stance I cant hold aggro. It pisses me off to no end. In groups im ok because I can tank in fire stance. But in raids I have to go defensive and look like a scrub because I can't hold the aggro.

yup I hear ya. If I'm in defensive, I need a dirge and warden to be able to hit the mob. It's ridiculous.

I'm glad its not just me.

I find without a warden in the MT group my agro suffers big time especially at the very start of a fight when all I seem to get is a wall of misses, and with 2 healers my health tends to spike a lot on the harder fights.

I have tanked most avatars but a few mobs still cause me trouble sometimes, like pentaclypse and tyrannus.

Have tried tanking ykesha a few times but unsuccessful so far.

What I would kill for is something unresistable to pull with or a temp buff that i can use on inc that makes accuracy 100%, I hate pulling with rescue.

Well, to continue on with my Pick up raid news,

VS down to pick up raid, and then came VP woot woot!

Zoned to the back of the zone and killed phara dar and silverwing, then moved to the first wing and killed all but nexona, was pretty good for a pick up raid led by a bruiser.

Usually i make it that i have dirge+templar (both with skill buff up) or a warden to get my skill high enough.
For zarrakon for example, i know 500 crushing is enough to get a very decent hit rate.
But yeah, without enough skill i can't touch anything, rescue CAs not landing, aggro is shit and if i switch in offensive i'm finished within 3 seconds.
