Crabbok starting over on AB

I assume it was a tough decision to leave your bruiser on Bazaar behind and remake on a normal server. I can see why you did it though, and think it would be kind of exciting at the same time, to actually "need" something again and make advancement. Two questions im curious about.

1. Why did you choose AB, and do you have a preworked out deal with one of the top raid guilds there, or are you just jumping in head first planning on fighting for a spot with the rest of us?

2. Please say Ogre?

I chose AB for a few reasons. 1 is the population. It's been very easy to get groups. It's a funny thing needing groups, considering I'm so used to soloing. Another reason is that my wife and alot of our friends had left the bazaar awhile back and came to AB to level. I caught up to her and for now... we are levelling together. It's a really nice change of pace, and it's cool actually playing with her again. I"ve been raiding so much lately I hadn't grouped with her in a very long time.

And yes I'm an ogre.

I don't have any plans as far as a particular raid guild yet. I'm only 40 right now, and even after I hit 80 there literally tons of stuff I'll have to do in order to get ready to raid, IE language quests, prerequisites for Epic, Myth, 182+ AAs, and try to get some entry level raid gear. Once I'm raid ready I'll probably apply to a few hardcore guilds and see how it looks. Server transfers are going down to only $25, so I don't have to stay on AB to raid... I just feel it'll be a good place to level.

It'll be interesting going through all the lowbie times of being a bruiser again, and might help me identify better with lower level, and lesser geared bruisers out there.

its actually a very free feeling to restart a toon.

sometime ago, I quit the game, was 100% sure I was done. deleted my toons, closed my account, and left -4 months later, and a million times thinking "I wanna play", I was back.

my original toon was your typical barbarian berserker. cookie cutter toon from top to bottom.

remaking the toon, I just wanted to have fun with the toon, so I went with a personal favorite race and made a ratonga berserker.
having all my previous experience, and know how of the game and class, it really gave me the patience to really just play the class, and have fun, instead of just a race to hit 80.
I really took my time, and explored all the older content, took time to actually meet people as I was leveling, helping out where I could.
in all, it really gave me a new appreciation for the class, and game in general.

it took the "stale" aspect out of the game, and it really was alot more fun this time around.

I think the same will be true for you.

One thing I am re-learning is how to tank without end-game gear. It's certainly giving me an appreciation, but all in all it's fun too. Finally getting Feign Death at lvl 14 was like WOOT!!! ha ha!

had a couple ppl transfer over from AB all of em complained of major lag when raiding. GL bro.

oh I don't plan on raiding on AB, just levelling.
