2 Handers
With the recent news Crabbok mentioned about 2hand weapons possibly being a viable dps fill-in for the next expansion it got me thinking. I'm a longtime monk player from EQ1 and what I really enjoyed was the REBB and SoT particle graphic.
Anyway here is a PS I did - it fails but i was bored.
It would be also neat to see a sectional bo staff or a 2 hand weapon you clicky and it turns into 2 one handers that you can dual weild. Just some ideas kinda curious what others have in mind for 2 hand weapons

Good idea, but difficult to implement.
They can improve on the use of it by increasing the range of auto-attack when a Brawler uses a 2H staff. 2H weapons overall should have an innate chance to stun for 1 or 2 seconds on a successful hit. Have any of you been hit by a 2H weapon? I take a few martial arts, and let me tell ya... they're not Downy soft.
I would like to see more 2H weapons replicate of the feudal China and feudal Japan eras... especially the highly decorated guandaos and naginatas. Feuling that idea, full size 1H and 2H lances would be awesome for plate tanks.

Nunchucks shouldn't be brawler-only and here's why -
The sheer ammount of time it takes to create the new nunchuck wielding animation would seriously consume alot of resources. There are only 2 animation guys, and making a new animation for a character means that they have to make a new animation for barbarian males, plus a new animation for barbarian females, plus a new animation for human males, and yet another for human females, and likewaise they must create a brand new animation for every race and sex. Now, once they are done with all that they also have to make new animations for SOGA human males, and SOGA human females, and repeat for all the races that have SOGA apperanaces.
Naturally, you can see that this is a very time consuming process, and to do it all for JUST brawlers honestly just wouldn't be fair. I do think they should have nunchucks for multiple classes, but in different forms. Maybe swordchucks for scouts, maybe use the same animation, (without the weapon) and use it with snowballs to look like you are Juggling, for a fun-weapon for all to use during frostfell... or any combination.
If they are gonna put the time to make em, they are gonna let most people be able to use it in some fashion. Once people get over the initial hype of the new animation, then we can see some good brawler-only nunchuck weapons, like Bone-Chucks, or Prismatic Nunchucks, or my favorite, the Crabbok-Chuck.

I still dont know how they can make 2 handers worthwhile without nerfing stuff or making 2 handers overpowered.
Personally I would like to see 2 handers have an innate aoe auto atk ability. All fighters AOE auto atk AA should be nerfed to 24% like they gave brawlers in the first fighter revamp. Then 2 handers should have an innate 25% aoe auto atk. Give them bow like delay and damage ratings (8-9 sec delay). Finally turn crane flock into a passive 5-10% chance to flurry.
I would love it if they created some 2 handers w additional stats like 10% chance to riposte, 10% chance to strikethrough, 10% base CA damage, 5% base auto atk damage, more encounter based procs, etc.

2 animators or 2 character animators? Because w only 2 animators ya no wonder they are overworked.

Those are all really cool ideas. I really like 2h combat too. I love the great animations they worked on for the 2h martial staff attacks. Dodge and stuff also looks really cool with a 2h.
Sure hope someone takes this idea into consideration.
