Very nice. I was surprised also that you PvP in offensive stance and yet seem to take so little damage. Then I looked up your toon and saw your gear...

It's probably sour grapes but I do miss the old days when you could PvP pretty much regardless of gear. Now that I can only play a couple of daytime hours a week, tops, I get my head kicked in constantly - partly because I'm shit now but mainly because having mythicals/fabled/masters is the name of the game.

I wish the devs would implement proper pvp-centric (ie nerfed) gear so the playing field would be a bit more level for those of us who don't have the time or opportunity to accrue all the l33t lewtz.

If you think bruiser fighters against scouts/healers/mages only last seconds then you've clearly never played on a PvP server.

A quick question Obano. I'm guessing that you put aa's into your offensive stance since that seems to be stance of choice for PvP. So is your PvP spec your dps spec? I have always used my tank spec for PvP. Maybe I should reconsider my strat.

Well considering the fact we have our Myth clickie, Impenetrable Wall, Stone Deaf and ect that all the defense I need. I pvp in offensive stance and am spec for dps and Mantis leap aswell.

The PvP spec that I have been using lately is neither a tank spec or a dps spec but a mix of both with some other tricks thrown in such as eagle shriek. If you look closely at the second video I have another defensive move besides the two parries. Not too many bruisers realize this but we have a forced de-target. If you hit divide and conquer and then FD you will drop target and they won't be able retarget you even if you are still beating on them. It puts them in a panic that they won't know what to do. Half the q side thinks I am a hacker with the sonic fists port + drag and then my forced de-targets.

lol yeah i do the same thing, the Boomerang Bandolier (+100% to range) is a hot item aswell:

dont remember the last time i lost to a scout on my bruiser, usually 2-3 second parses cause everyone just blows temps at the beginning just target yourself put auto attack on and impenetrable will= 0 damage, and no scouts is gonna last with bruiser temps running

I have a macro for Divide and Counquer/FD I was using it when i fought you obano but you kept resisting.

You don't raid on this toon anymore so I guess that free's up a spec for you to dedicate to pvp. I have to have a tank spec or I die when I tank in raids. And I also have to have a dps spec or else my dps will drop and I would probably get asked to sit on raids.

You are definatly beast Obano. Makes me very happy to see how beast you are cuz If my patterns start dropping I could be geared like your toon very soon.
