Default Combat Art Damage FTW

Since I find Combat Art Damage to be CRUCIAL for bruisers who are PVPing and/or DPSing, I'm wondering if anybody can suggest some quests that give +combat art weapons / jewels to get me juiced up a little more. Currently wearing a combo of MC 70's and PVP gear, but DPS dropped a lot when I gave up my lvl 62 MC gear that gave the +CA dmg. Would be nice to make up for the drop with some solid jewels. Currently lvl72.

Any suggestions?

Just try get your T1 shard set and then go for pvp gear. The pvp BP has 150 CA on it. There is a neck off the first named in PoA with CA damage on it. You should ask around and see if you can buy loot rights to it.

For DPS what mount would you guys use the Shard mount for +3% reuse or the Warg that give addition to CA dmg and Crushing skill? The shard mount reduces the recast on Chi by 15 seconds but seems to me that overall the Warg would be better.

Re-use is pretty hot... thats actually a good question though. Honestly I've always used guild lvl 80 mount for zones, with the extra HP and crushing skill, but I'd have to lean towards re-use over the other stuff.

I use the 3% pure reuse mount on every character. All other attributes are easier to acquire.

Usually at best you're only going to see hostile spell reuse, which doesn't do anything for brawlers. The spellbear though, gives ability reuse which affects everything, hostile, beneficial, combat arts, call to guild hall, etc.

Without spellbear, you're only really going to see the 12% from the Agi line as far as self-buffed reuse goes.

True unless you count the +50% reuse from Chi.

Get your Troub to throw Jcap on you before every Chi and reuse on a Bruiser is pretty sweet.

Question; in the interest of pvp'ing. What set of shard gear would you recommend and why? Both of course have their use, but i'm pretty torn between the two sets.

For PvP stay way from the wilderness warrior junk. PvP is about survivability not the parse. Most pvp fights can be won with only 800dps or less.

So do you think the CRIT MIT set is essential for PVPing? I've just started saving my carnage insignia lvl 70+, also wondering what set would be best. I was leaning towards the CRIT MIT set found in moors.

800HP or less? Damn. Maybe with a lot of avoidance and high MIT. You better have some nice stuff!

Crit mit is hugely essential to pvp moreso than it is in PvE. That is why the pvp BP has 30 crit mit on it while the Anashti BP only has 20 crit mit on it. Back in RoK before there was crit mit I always used to worry about wizards getting a lucky 12k ice bolt or fission and one shotting me. Since crit mit came into being I take so much less damage.

Also about the gearing for pvp strategy most bruisers out there load up on dps gear and then when they go out and pvp they realize they have no survivablity only to end up having to fight in defensive stance. When I made my pvp videos many were shocked to see I pvp in offensive stance and take so little damage. It is all about gear choices where you want to gear defensively and then run offensice stance because dps gear+deffensive stance does not work well for pvp.
