Sadly we said the same before this expac. And i know crabbok and I were all over TSO beta feedbacking changes to bruisers AA's.

And if you look at our AA's they seem pretty good. But it didnt really help us or show how much itemization and changes in mechanics like strikethrough/target lock immune would fuck us.

Even if they give us excellent AA's next expansion (preferably dps related), we need some mechanics changes in our favor. We need our temp avoid buffs immune to strikethrough. We need our avoid other buff to be overpowered. We need decent aoe dps/agro.

ok if i do try pvp .. ive been to told make an alt.. spend a week or so harvesting T2 rares before i make my real toon so he can have a full set of MC AT 12 and then level lock and AA as much as possible...

should i do that ..or not worry about it..burn to 80 ..

with no true level lockin anymore.. is 80 the best level for pvp or is lower level any good?

80 is definitely the best level for PVP... however you will need your mythical and PVP gear and or shard gear to even step up to the plate.

it's also easy to find PVP from lvl 20-40 in the lower zones, in dark light, or SS docks on Nagafen, because people roll alts to that level and lock them...

How much aoe dps does your bruiser do in woe? I mean I run woe with my friends zerker alt on a regular basis while hes tanking he does 18-25k dps on the books and up to 9k single target dps with only 2 pieces of T4 gear. I have trouble believeing your bruiser competes in aoe in any way shape or form of that.

I play a monk so kinda disappointed in brawler dps vs. survivability compared to some plates. really irritates me watching them tank epics with jewel and choker on while they heal themselves through the health drain.

Bruisers can beat Berzerkers on parses with our Brawler AA in AOE spec in encounter fights. Without temps, it's just CA reuse timing for Body Flail, Savage Assault, and Crane Sweep (blegh) and getting Crane Twirl to proc as often as possible. With temps, their temps can't compete with ours: Chi + Knockout Combination + Crane Flock with Body Flail, Savage Assault, and Crane Sweep AOEs tacked on with rapid CAs for multiple Crane Twirl procs.

In long encounters like Captain Hitpoints in WoE, Bruiser should still be topping the parse over Berzerker.

Just sayin I have never seen a bruiser pop off 25k dps in WoE on books or even 15 for that matter (seen zerker do 18 then 20 back to back). But if you can do it on your bruiser im impressed and monks need a serious upgrade on AoE.

I don't see a bruiser out parsing a zerker on the books in WoE. You would probably have to pop chi, crane flock (if you are speced), and knockout combination in order to make it close. Unfortunately the reuse timers are so long for all of these abilities that you would have to take a big break between pulls just to hold aggro.

But I have seen Zerkers even have trouble on some fights... its gottten to the point where if it is not a single target, then we just bring an SK even if it has lesser gear.

I don't do all the farming that alot of brawlers do so there is really no point in playing the class over any of my other alts.

tbh, you can't judge from 1 fight..
Maybe Bruiser wont make 25k on those books, but in 95 % of all the AoE fights, we will outparse Zerker, and that's what makes us better dps than them..
