Yeah, I'm really hoping that there's viable two-handed weapons in the expansion, the fight animations just look so much better.

(well, with bo staff type weapons at least)

Sure would be nice if they made Myth2.0 for us a Nunchuck

Not that I am a fan of Myth 2.0, cause I'd rather see a difference in the weapons a hardcore raider and a casual raider is using

You won't see myth 2.0... at least not for many years. At best, I think if the devs ever decided to do another epic / mythical quest it wouldn't be for an equipment slot... rather it might be for a spell/ca or some permanent buff... so it doesn't fuck with itemization.

I sure hope youare right, cause right now it just sucks that everyone can have the same weapon and is judged by it..
Can't count how many pug's I've seen with Myth toon xxx for xx raid..

Heck, the biggest newb in the g ame can have it, but the best player in the game can also have an alt who does not have it yet

It's been stated many times, and I've heard it in person, that there will not be new epic weapons, and our current epic weapons will not be our weapon of choice next expansion. They are going to give us some new way to make use of our current mythicals without having to use them in our hand... so perhaps a charm, or adornment or something along those lines.... So basicly our myth will still be desireable, but we'll be able to find 2 other weapons... or a 2 hander and use it without feeling like we dropped our myth for it.

/nod on they should be 2h... however the animation for 2h weps already exist, there is no way they are going to create new animation just for brawlers and "Nunchucks" Would it be cool, hell yea. I just don't see SoE spending the time / money to invent new animations for us, hell we are the only class that has our Myth poof when not in combat, id be happy if it was a permanent show-off. just my 2cp

They could also be smaller, 1h and use the whip animation or something similar. Sort of the same basic animation. One half in your hand the other half moving... just a thought.

I really hope whatever they do they make it a superficial buff item. Something no powerful then the Ill will type buff. I would hate to see mythicals become like Epics were to some classes in eq1. I personally dont want to deal with doing veeshan peak and every other raid needed everytime a new person joins my guild and NEEDS their mythical to raid. Although most people have thier mythical now this will not be standard fair in 1-2 years.

i don't agree. this is an MMO and time invested on the toon you play should reflect how powerful it is. granted some characters will need the myth effects for raiding more then others but i still don't feel it's beneficial to nerf mythical value.
