My spec is a lot like yours Cory thanks to the advice you've given me - but I put a few points elsewhere. I'd appreciate any criticism - positive or negative.

I'll qualify this by saying I don't know as much as others who post here, but here are some suggestions I have:

I like having 5 points in aggressive beatdown. If you're going to add a threat component to it, you might as well make sure it's a lot of threat.

I like maxing mantis bolt. Cory may be able to DPS just fine without it, but he's a freak of nature anyways.

I try to put points into the AoEs in the Shadows tree before single-target abilities. Definitely Deadly Assault because it makes the reuse much better.

In your Heroic tree, I would highly recommend maxing ability reuse speed. Yeah, crit bonus and potency are un-capped, but it's much harder to find ability reuse on gear.

Well Mantis Bolt still adds 2-3k to a parse, I just think that debuffing the mobs max hp by an extra 1-3% and their potency by 4% just does more than an extra 2-3k dps onto my parse.

Yeah, I never really thought about the debuff component of manis star before. Hmm.

i found so many things wrong with this i do not know where to start.

    few quick questions.

Why do i see brusiers going for the Utility side of the class over tanking and dps?

Why even get combat mastery and hate stance if you are dropping the hate gained from a 56% proc?

Dont get me wrong ha ha, i see the benefits of having a few more points of da and block . . .

But to get combat mastery so your ranger gets 2 hits off bow attacks EH. Could always re roll to dirge. they always have that up and provide a lot of buffs to the group.

    Here's my current spec.

    Goldburg

As you can tell I am behind in AAs, but I do have some questions about some choices I've made. First and foremost should I ditch the 18% crit and 3 of Eagle spin and add them to Matis Bolt/Mantis Star. It'll bring my crit down to about 160% or so.

On the Bruiser tab I've contemplated dropping Intemidate, getting Rescue and Control Hate instead. I only use our mez and fear for shiney farming. I also considered dropping a few points from our heal since I use it soon as I go orange typically.

On the TSO tab I'm not sure how much Consummate Defender is really improving my Defensive stance and I wonder if going either Rescue or Riposte would serve me better overall. And the final question is Adrenaline Rush worth it?

I used to run around in a Hybrid combo spec, but recently decided to set my mirror up for pure dps and pure tank. I can usually run around in my DPS spec for raids, but switch to tank spec if i'm tanking instances or have to specifically tank a raid mob. I'm currently parsing in pure dps spec/gear around 26-37k average in DoV raids with dirge and inq in group. I currently run gear wise with only t1 helm, DoV Raid Cloak, t3 chest, t2 bracers, t2 hands, t2 legs, 2 fabled DoV weaps, one from the x2 with red adorn and the other with yellow. My offensive stats are: CC 213, CB 94, POT 94, ABMod 1400, Str 1800+, MA 160ish. So I'm not super geared but can pull some respectable parses. Usually in top 5 in our raids. We are not a hardcore guild so I'm just working with what I got :P I have 300AA. Below is my spec. I know some have asked for a DPS only spec and others tank only, but here is my DPS Spec.

I've tried pure DPS specs, pure tanking specs, hybrid specs, and I think I've spent probably 300 plat respeccing back and forth so far this expansion.

Most of the variation generally comes from the new heroic tree. I've played with all 3 endlines. I think Tag Team COULD have some use, but it is bugged to shit at the moment and it's ONLY use is as a self tsunami. Using it on another player only results in random bullshit happening, IE mob memwiping to other people, or you gain aggro on stuff the other person didn't even touch... It's just fucked up. Stone Cold is alright too, but it's still kinda lukewarm. It's up alot, and that's great, but I just don't find it necessary enough yet to spec it, and what's worse... is that it looks exactly like our Brunami, so gets' me fucking confused as hell, since I keep all temps like that close to each other on my hotbars.

So all in all, I'm gonna have to say that Combat Mastery stands head and shoulders above every endline for my taste. It's always usefull, and even though it's duration is short, it's still my favorite endline, even for a tanking spec.

Here is the spec I'm running with now. It's a tanking spec, though you might think of it as a hybrid.
    Crabbok Spec
