Default Latest on KoS AA's

I read through the threads and didn't see much discussion on best KoS AA setup for raiding. Is it still 448 STA,WIS,INT for max dps or is the benefit of the faster reuse timers make 448 AGI,WIS,INT a viable alternative? I was curious what the raiding bruisers out there think.

I use 4/4/8 agi/wis/int and i am really digging it.
Dunno if its the best for dps but it fits my style better.

from what im hearing, sta line gives +/- 20 dps (from 8 in proc) so it isnt really worth it. most of the ppl i talked to are speced int/wis for crane flock and eagle shriek. gives them better soloing ability also. not that agi line is bad. prolly benefits bruiers a lot more than monks since most of your attacks are on longer recasts, and your heal is short enough that you can almost cast it often enough to never die vs a mob that doesnt hit very hard

yea thats what i think most everyone did, swaping the last 1 between hp and avoidance as they see fit

I have been WIS/INT for quite a while. I tried out AGI/WIS/INT and didn't see much different in DPS. I have just heard how Sardonis rocks every parse and was checking to see if I was missing something. I don't raid a lot on my bruiser, but I want to be more effective when I do. The thing I couldn't figure out was why I still missed a LOT in a DT raid even with warden buffs and all offensive skills over 450....

I was wondering about that, too. Recently in labs or lyceum (can't recall which) I was missing like crazy and my melee skills were at 524. I don't have my parse with me but it felt like I was at a standard unbuffed 85% to hit on 74s.

I don't currently have +crush gear but I don't typically have a warden and pally in my group buffing the shit out of my melee skills, either. If I miss so damn much at a ridiculous number like 524 I'm wondering if the +cruch gear is even going to do anything for my normal group setup.

The most desired seems to between two options now, 4:4:8 Agi/Wis/Int, which I feel makes more use in the long run. Then there is the option of 4:4:8:6:2 Wis/Int, in which I hardly seen much benefit from, but is quite noticeable in the heroic scene.

Now it is more based upon your group makeup and what your role is.

As for missing on your auto attacks, not only does it depend on how much +crushing you have, but also what mob you're fighting. I never raid KoS anymore, but I can't recall having any problems in those zones. As for in EoF, the only zone with some variation of mobs is EH, and only nuisance in there really was the 3rd floor trash trees and portal guardians, but never have to worry about them anymore. It does take a lot of +crushing gear to help, sure would be nice if we had some buff to increase our hit chance, hmm...

The thing I like most about the wis/int spec is being able to alternate knockout combo and crane flock so I have a nice ability up nearly every fight. If our raids were a constant murderfest I think 448 agi/wis/int would be better but we're always stopping to loot shit and whatnot so I have time for my abilities to refresh every few fights. It's the curse of the 2 raid/week "family" guild I suppose.

I couldn't give less of a damn about anything past 448 int but there's nowhere else to put the points.

On missing, I will check my parses...maybe it just seemed like I was missing more than I really was. It seems to me that 524 crushing is ridiculously high...there's no way I could have been missing that much.

So I looked at my parses and zonewide in Lyceum it was 79% pierce and 82% crush at 519 pierce skill and 524 crush skill. What the fuck? It took 3 classes to get my skill up that high and I still miss 20% of the time? I just don't get it. In AoAx4 killing Talendor it was 90% and 92%.

edit: On Vilucidae it was 52% pierce and 56% crush.....gah /boggle.
