Default lvl 2 toon in karnor castle

Anyone experience lag in Karnor Castle?

Seems to be a lvl 2 toon (name escapes me, worded in professional farmer format), that will follow your group around and drag mobs to your group, or raid force.

Then he's free to farm the shinies, as you struggle with the addtional mobs he brought over (aggro'd due to an AOE by your raid force)

How does a low lvl toon survive that way? Guess he has a dual core processor, and runs in hyper mode (I"m a noob on trying to figure it out, maybe some expert can explain how it's done)

Experienced it first hand with our raid group, on our way to the executioner throne room. I even threw a snowball at him. He was friendly, even telled me to say "hello"

Unless I'm mistaken, EQ does not take advantage of dual core processors as well as it should. That being said, chances are he's got his particle effects turned off, and settings turned down just enough so that he doesn't experience much lag, but can still see shineys from a safe distance. What you have to keep in mind is these farmers probably don't care about the nice graphics of the game, they just want to get their stuff and make their money.

These are farmers, and they are warping, which can be attributed to the dual core cpu "bug". It is been widley discussed here : http://www.eq2flames.com/farmers-alm...edhackers.html

You should /petition them.

Yes i know the toon you are speaking of hes a fucking dick. Back when i was in the block i was headed in to KC to do a bit of farming my self when this little mother fucker is running around the zone at full speed warping literally 20 to 30 mobs past us.

You'd think this would be a pretty easy thing for SOE to deal with. What legit purpose could a level 2 toon have in that zone.

But alas, I'm sure said account is replaced as quickly as it is banned.

Yeah I see them in Jarsath and KP around Chardok frequently & sadly, not just lowbies.

Nothing like killing to clear a spot to harvest, then having someone blip up, harvest your node in supersonic speed and blip off again.

I keep track up & watch for them if I'm out harvesting/hunting nameds. It's usually enough to catch the name as they blip past - then I'll /who and find them to get the correct spelling to petition.

I'd like to see someone explain HOW they're doing it. I have dual core - afaik, they had supposedly patched the original issue with it. New one? Or was the "patch" heresay? I haven't run into an issue yet with it, though.

This post in the linked thread above was a head scratcher.

This one can be credited with taking 2 paragraphs to say absolutely nothing. Brain AIDS?

Actually i was laughing (for a bit), here was a lvl 2 illusionist that was delaying our pathway to the raid zone. He brought over mob after mob for us to kill.

What a game, where a lvl 2 toon can run around a T8 zone, and cause havoc.
