So your flaming someone for assuming he wouldn't roll on future drops because he had won a previous drop? Lame. This all boils down to lack of communication meaning the group didn't establish the loot rules prior to heading out to CoA and your pissed all because of assumptions.

I agree that one person in a group should NEVER win all the loot. The RAN in this game has always been suspect, and in my view has never been random. It's just predictable that one person will win most rolls in a group and the loot will not be evenly distributed because of that fact.

It is rude, greedy and selfish for one person in group to hog all the loot just because they can roll high on everything that day.

In the case of fabled especially, I think one person should stop rolling when he gets a nice item so that everyone else has a chance. If everyone gets something nice, then by all means start rolling again.

This is just simple manners and common courtesy, it's a shame many people don't have them.

So you are in a PU group...no one needs item and you are mad someone who won earlier rolled again.....are you kidding me??? If it is FFA...then its FFA...sometimes i win shit...sometime i win multiple items.....called luck of the draw. A retard is a dude that rolls on something no trade that someone else in group needs. Common courtesy is dead in most parts of EQ, as far as I can tell from the discussions people from various servers have.

I mean, why be a grown up with common sense and common decency, when you can sit in your e-diapers and squawl, "HAR HAR whiny pussy nub!" and grin as the other toddlers applaud you?

Though, AB, while being drama-tastic, also seems to be very courteous when it comes to loot....most of the time. Most of the people I've met have been hard-core Need Before Greed proponents. Loot whores are usually shouted down pretty harshly if they're caught. But, with every large group (or packed-to-the-gills server ), there will be bad apples.

Its simple courtesy. If you don't need it, and someone else in the group does, don't fucking roll on it, you greedy twat. If nobody needs it, THEN you FFA it. Surprise! You're not the only one in the world that "needz teh phat lewtz".

I agree you should not roll on a master if you just won one.

Sorry, I see most of the people here saying its luck of the draw! i do it all the time! wee!

But I agree with everything LFG said.
Even if I win a legendary I can't use, and is no trade and all I'll get out of it is vender coin or transmuted bits- I STILL don't roll on a master just because I won something that was greater than treasured- even if what I got was worth way less than the master.

Its just nice to be nice. And actually, I remember quite a bit of times when someone in group passes on something because "declining since i just won something". I guess LDL is the exception?

This discussion is retarded. If the loot options are set to random and nobody in the group needs I don't see why you can't roll on 2 masters. If you really wanted to split loot then you better be leader and you better put the loot options to leader only and tell people to ran/ 100 for loot that everyone can use. Otherwise what is the point of lotto? Sure I wish people used courtesy like declining on the next master more often, but then again if you want common courtesy either know the people in your group or expect the worse. You can't expect to group with random people and get courtesy and good players lol.

If you don't want it completely random if nobody in the group needs, state that prior.
People don't read minds, people assume that it is lotto. If you don't want it completely random, voice it or shut the fuck up.

I play it by ear. I've won a bunch of fabled drops in a run before. In fact, I've been on a run where I won a shitty master, then I won a legendary piece, and said I'd stop rolling, but the groupmates said that I should keep rolling, because it was just my "lucky day." They were pissed when I won the next master though, I could tell.

Generally, I don't go near pick-up groups when I can avoid it, but I've always found that communication is the key. If you aren't sure about the vibe of the group, ask before rolling. Personally, I don't mind if someone wins a bunch of fabled drops in a group. I know in the end it evens out.

However, what I do mind, is that claiming that this mentality springs from WoW. I fucking been there, man. It's a jungle out there. I was in a group, playing my friend's toon, and this really nice epic bow dropped. The "hunter" of the group was allowed to roll on it, but everyone rolled, too, and it was won by someone who couldn't use it, because "they needed the gold that it could sell for."

No one in the group saw that as a problem.

What you're describing as a "jungle", I'd call a "wasteland of fucktards". Greedy little kiddies born from parents of the "Me Generation" who got everything they threw a tantrum for, who now think the rest of us players should let them get what they want, not because they need it, but because they want it. And just watch if you tell them to share. Its like playing with a pre-school class. "I dun wanna! I want it! Its mine mine mine!"
