I recently joined a guild with a low level toon. We were discussing the fact that the lottery had recently been won and what would you do with all that plat, when the guild leader announced that he had purchased plat online to benefit the guild. Not sure when that was, or how much it was, but now that I have this knowledge, does this make me an accessory to a crime as a guild member?

Okay, maybe that's a bit harsh, but I've never bought plat before and don't know what it entails, and don't intend to buy any. Or does this happen alot and I'm getting my panties in a wad over nothing? I don't want to sound like a goody two shoes, ya know. This is not a large raiding guild so does the plat go toward status?? Not sure.

A bit of advice, plz, ya'll, and be nice, I cry easily, lol.

What you do is have a huge fight with your GL over the ethics of buying plat, screenshot it, leave the guild, and put up a post in the Your Guild Sucks area. Then you get emotionally wrecked as everyone else in the guild, bought off by the GL's plat, trashes your fragile character in public.
