Prolly not since the people that think this is a good idea are too fat, too cheap, or too useless to finish the quest. Why not loosen up that sphincter you call a coin purse string and buy the rest of the rares you need. Then come back here and complain.

I have no problems sharing blues with people, but there should be an option to turn it off in the group options. As for the blue shineys, yes I spent considerable time and plat getting that quest done, and if I want to share with the rest of the group then that should be my decision. How about set it up so that the lotto only appears to those that own the goggles, got no problem with that either.

I find it quite stupid that now lame asses can join a group with someone with the goggles and get the blues without putting forth the money or effort.

doesnt sound to me like sharing to me. if they only wanna share with people who have blue goggles, then make everyone wear em as proof before inviting em to group.

I have to agree with the OP. This game sucks now. I logged on flames to see if anything interesting happened in EQ2 lately, something that would make me resubscribe. I look at the GU43 update and just laugh, an update full of crap no one cares about. My favorite classes epic weapons, fabled armor sets and etc. still blow!

Has anyone actually had "fun" playing EQ2 in a long time? I know I hadnt and that is when I said I'm done. I mean come on, its 3 years and 4 expansions later and there's still fundamental problems with certain classes. Then they totally change the way they design an expansion and piss everyone off. I still find it crazy how they thought all these things were good ideas and just how badly they screwed over the loyal fans. Lets not even get into epics. If SOE actually fixed shit people cared about, tons of people wouldn't be leaving or have left.
