The big thing that AoC has going for it is....SoE is not involved.

When I first started the game, it was a big change from EQ2 in my opinion. All of the mechanics almost. But given some time, I must say it is rather fun.

I am waiting for someone to bitch about the bugs in the game. Thats what I have seen in the "ooc" channel lately. People seem to forget that it was just recently released and even with that it still runs rather well.
