Mayong does, in a hard way btw, especially on contested version.
And if you're clever enough, you cast it just before the AE, it prevents part of the first drain, and you recast it fast to avoid the 2nd tick

I don't ever happen to spam this spell. My only complaint is that it has a slightly long cast time, but really it is not a big enough issue with it to not use it.

On C.Mayong, I used to try to double up the Manaward, but I'd get interrupt midcast sometimes. I never found it to be so important to do this, since it was never my group but other groups that ran out of power.

can anyone really kill mobs like wuohsi, c mayong etc these mana drainers WITHOUT manaward? (IE coercer)

or is this just sony's way of making us more needed in a raid?

You can kill all of these mobs without it, but your raid has to have some kind of regen / power proc items. I remember my first Wuoshi and first non-contested Mayong kill, and I did not play my coercer at all.

Mayong Inner is a joke atm, no longer requires Coercer in MT group, used to be on early version.
We still use my coercer on Yoshi, cause drain sometimes occurs during a root/stiffle on the G1's healers and manaward gives a lot of help on it. But as Revel says imo with a lot of legendary noxious cure in inventory Yoshi is killable without a coercer in MT group.
