And if you play both enchanters then I would assume you would have a bias as to which one you prefer to play in a raid, which is what DPS we have truly been discussing, and only on a raid whereas I'm speaking of the entire class. So keep on rockin that narrow mindset.

So anyway, like I've said before, if you think it'd be so much better to have an Illus in your spot than your coercer, betray it. What is there to call me out on? If you're so convinced you could be adding so much more to your raid by simply betraying, then stop talking about coercers and do it.

Call me simple call me ignorant, I don't give a fuck, there's two enchanters for a reason, they both do different things and have different play styles, if you like to only play to what your raid force wants then have at it. I prefer however to play how I like to play and a coercer suits myself just fine and I always know I can betray to an Illusionist but fuck that; I could've betrayed some 70 levels I've played and I never have, don't see it happening anytime soon.

I'm fucking done with any of you that want to whine about your coercers anymore and say Illus would fit the spot better, then go play one. Seriously..

Sure our shit doesnt work like it could in a way where we'd be just as much dps as every other mage but who gives a fuck, if you don't like the ENTIRE mechanics of your class or your just can't deal with it to the point where you have to "call people out" for telling you to put a sock in it when all you're doing is whining, then I don't see why you're playing the class still. Seriously go play an illusionist, help your raid out more, make it so my masters are cheaper. Please do.

And fucking rant and rave about how I'm such a jackass but who cares? Our mechanics could work better, but what classes couldn't? Just because melee classes are simpler in dps mechanics doesn't mean they could be tweaked to be more effecient. So give it a fucking rest, if you don't like your class so much then just stop playing it, if you have a problem with that, BETRAY. If you have a problem with that, why are you still paying Sony $15 a month to bitch?

You're a jackass for not trying to fix it, that's the problem. The reasons that people point out illusionists do better in the situations is not to make fun of coercers or say that coercers blow, even though you seem to assume it is, or take it as a personal affront. Pointing out imbalances and pointing out that your class seems to be doing less than what it should can be an attempt to get the devs to give MORE to the class. That's what a lot of people here are doing.

Have the devs said they're fixing it? No, but does that mean they're not going to? No. So why stop trying? They care about money, having that many players unhappy stops them from getting money, and pointing out that you have a character (thus, you pay them money) and are unhappy will often get results.

Stop fucking flaming people for trying to get their class improved.

To add a bit to it...

1. All you idiots who keep bringing up immune mobs as your only (and weak) argument for how Coercers are useless in RoK, get with the times. That was beta and has since been curbed dramatically. Now it's mostly nameds, with maybe a sparse handful of normal mobs here and there, and that's fine with me.

2. As far as raid Coercers go, I was one and I'll tell you what never seems to get mentioned is the group power management ability for the long-ass fights (which, imho, considering all our power spells, is better than illusionist, but that's just me, not trying to start anything with that comment so don't read into it). There are other types of invaluable spells when it comes to raids that we have as well. I don't know how many times I saved a raid party from a wipe because I used Channel or Thought Snap at just the right time, or Amnesia to memory wipe a mob, etc, etc.

3. The mobs in RoK have been awesome, with both better dmg output and better A.I.- which makes a Coercer Master I charm spell one of the best spells in the game imho (at least for soloing or small groups). So regardless if they fix our spell procs or not (which they should imo), we still have far better dps ability than we did a few weeks ago. Our pets can actually hold aggro now too (if you know what you're doing) which is sweet.

Face facts, if anything, Coercers are back with RoK, not finished.

So all you people who are hesitant to play Coercer because of the nay-sayers, or who have been thinking about betraying... listen to me instead. Yes, something may still not work as intended, however... it's a fun class, it's a useful class, and it's now a great solo class. Enjoy.
