i gotta say, wicked wand is prob the best single item for a coercer in mt imho... i find doing the same thing i did without it (same casting order, no link on me, etc) the only time i pull agg on small encounters is right off the pull, once the tank has it that's it... i toggle it for large ae fights (the "raid" in pr, etc) but for the most part, my god.... it's doing around 13% of my zws atm....

i got a question about the proc on the robe of dark power. What i understand....

When my target gets hit, there is a chance of 10% to cast the proc which last for 5 minutes and absorb all attack. maxium 2 and then it procs mana for the group. Is that right?

Means....

i hit a mob.. it procs... the mob cast 2 aes which will get absorbed from me and now the group mana proc procs, now its over and there is a chance again to proc even if its under 5 minutes right?

Nah, it's not that great even on long fights. It'd basically barely equal a BCG. On short fights, it'd lose completely. So on a normal zonewide, it'd flat out lose, it gets maybe 20 dps versus the bcg's 40-60 dps.

Not unless you get over 750 damage. If you did they'd still be about equal. At this point, the will-bender even barely beats the Doom bracelet.

Wicked Wand is kinda complicatet to use ...

On Raids with a good tank its not problem and makes fo rme around 8% of my zonewide dps. (Our MT gets each time 1p when i die ... baaaaah - he got 1p :P)

In groups its tuffer, i seem to have aggro all the time.

I am not sure how it works in Caster groups but in MT-Group it works fine, best with paly.

Compared to Signet of Betrayl from my view.

testet in SoH up to Sisters (dirge and templer)

2047 times Wicked Effekt with average of 390 - 2.4 Milion aggro
167 times Signet with average of 1600 - around 300k aggro because i "tankend" some parts of the Demetrius Cane.

So if you got aggro probs without it (shouldn't really happend) dont use it, its pain

And hell i love the "nerv Coercers" from our Illus and Wizzis :P

Groupwise I just think its plain stressfull for a tank to again and again pry the Mob from the coercer with the damn thing on. But in the end I allways think, that groupplay should be relaxing anyhow. So, no*allways*aggro*pulling*items,*no*chokers,*no*any thing*that*interferes*with*relaxing*play.
