Is it worth it?

I mean does the game get fun again?

The reason I made a coercer back in the day was because of charm and this last 50%!!!! nerf with out even mentioning it just made me quit the game.

I think the question's not really for us to answer, anyway. I have no clue why you play this game so what's fun is pretty much subjective. Illusionists are great in raids and you'll put up high numbers while being wanted in every group, but you also have to deal with people whining for your buffs all the time.

What kind of class are ya looking for/what kind of result do you want? You'll just have to answer that yourself.

I haven't noticed much, but perhaps I am in denial. A lot of people have been screaming though; 50% loss is insane. I haven't seen any posts on specific data though.

As far as the charm nerf? It's not all pets, but basically most of the casters are horrible now. I don't really have great parses, but I've only found one caster mob that has hit over 1k and it was a heroic coercer in chardok.

According to the "official" forums....... Only RoK zones where given the 50% reduction. Haven't checked though.

I wouldn't betray to Illi, I just prefer the play style of coercers. To me Illi's just seem bland after a level or two. I prefer having a choice of pets to choose from (even though in some places our choice is nil, or greatly limited).

After playing a coercer every class just seems blah in comparison.
