I suppose it would depend on your definition of crap. It seems almost everyone agrees it is an 'okay' weapon, but not that great compared to the others. *shrug* The poll agrees.

As for my thoughts, not being really high enough to worry about it right now, I can say that the extra power doesn't really interest me. Nor am I really impressed with it like I was some of the others. I voted for it is okay, but not in line with the others, which is what I feel.

It's still early to get a definite answer, as to get a really good comparison in, we need to see the other mage epics. For example, although it seems alot of coercers drool over the wizard epic, some wizards are just as cynical about their weapon as some of us are about ours. So clearly, you can't please everyone.

I personally feel that the positives of the weapon are high, but I can't disagree with Linyen about the negatives either. I do think that the weapon is better than some of the other epics, but when you take a comparison of the weapons from the bards who are our closest buffy brethren, I definitely get the feeling of "I wish I had that too."

I think the coercer class as a whole has been a think outside the box class. Your abilities are simple yet extreamly powerfull if used correctly, and I say the same for your epic as well. If you take everything for its face value youl never make it as a coercer.

This coming from someone retired and who has an Illusionist pic in their profile? I don't know you but either you couldn't handle the art of coersion and betrayed, or were an Illy from the start and know shit about coercers. Either way, your words mean jack shit...

Actually, I have both. And I am quite sure I have had mine longer than you so please learn something before you speak. Again, care to rebutt linyens points? You think Coercers need more mana? If you do then you are an idiot. No other way to say it. The fighter portion is nice. The +powermax and power portion is garbage. The wisdom is useless. The graphic is ass. Please step in anytime you are ready or feel like you want to test my skill on a coercer.

I retired because i have seen the light. EQ2 will always be fucked because the people that run the game suck. Doesnt mean I wont speak up if I see someone with no fucking clue talking.

I never said that I liked having more mana. Linyen said that the epic was a TOTAL failure, and I disagree by seeing the positive things in the weapon. (Which it does have... as were mentioned on this thread) By saying that EQ2 will always be fucked up because the people that run the game suck..it is easy for me to see that you are retired now and are the kind of person that gives up when presented with a challenge or obstacle. Maybe these difficult thought processes aren't contained in HELLO KITTY ONLINE in which you obviously switched over to since enchanters as a whole were too much for you. But I am her enow, and perhaps you have played one longer than me (1.8 yrs) but that doesn't mean I cannot learn my class faster and better than you can. My guild considers me a GOD and that's good enough for me.

And again..if our Epic is nothing but trash for any of you then please betray or reroll and quit whining....

Whatever. If you think EQ2 is a challenge to play you have more issues then I thought. If you think the state of EQ2 coercer is a simple challenge, again go see a shrink. Since you have only been playing 1.8 years, you didnt get the chance to see us at launch. Dont speak to me of a challenge noob.

I bet HELLO KITTY ONLINE would listen to a playerbase, have balanced classes, and treat their customers with a shred of respect. I bet they would fix the classes instead of leaving them in the pitiful state Coercers are in. Delude yourself if you want, but the proof is in the pudding. You are second string to a dirge. If you are a GOD to your guild, they have low standards. I mean that.

power reduction is crap, everything else i like or can live with

if your group needs the power reduction you need to take a step back and learn how to play your class
