Exactly. The potion on the Mythical weapon that adds mental damage to fighters is nice. Very nice. The spell crits and reuse are nice. Its the rest of it thats poorly thought out.

The weapon is mostly nice, but with 2 power abilities of, at best, *limited* usefulness, they need to rethink things a bit.

The % reduced power use proc is completely useless. What I'd really like to see in its place is an increase to the group's heals which works like Gravitas: Improving power heals and regular heals by a percentage. That would be useful, and even pretty nice, and it'd fit in with the whole "proc to buff healing" thing they were going for in the first place. 10% on the group version and 20% on the raid version seems about right to me for that kind of a proc.

The group mana flow thing would be fine the way it is *except* that 1. it's the 2nd mana manipulation ability on the thing, and 2. If it really returns 60% it's an "OMG TAKE IT OFF MY HOTBAR!" nerf to volitile magic. And, well, nerfs to a major class ability doesn't seem like a good choice for an epic weapon effect. That said if they left it the way it was, but coupled it with some kind of a removal of the low power requirement to VM, I think I'd be happy.

And they need to swap out the WIS for STR.

So, I guess that puts me in the 2nd camp. The weapon needs fixing, but it's a good start.

if you really want it changed prolyl the onyl way is for every single coercer to post a thread on the official forums and nuke teh thread repeadiately til they either fix it or lock the thread.

The weapon is a total failure, and I only say that because (so far) from what I have seen, it has, by far, the dumbest main effect and +5max power and 32WIS instead of STR.

Its a failure in line with epics, it IS the bottom of the totem poll and anyone that tries to say otherwise I will argue them wrong no problem.

I mean, have you guys seen the other epics and their effects and what they do? Or are you soley looking at this epic and judging it based on that? Obviously its a great weapon, but when compared to other EPICS (keyword EPIC) its garbage in the effect dept.

You need to look at all the other epics and see what they do for that person and the raid and then go look at ours. Hands down, failure.

edit: oh yah and it looks like garbage compared to others so far too

oh and PS, no one thinks this epic is line with the others so far. They just think its "okay" and thats the majority....what other fucking class is saying that right now?

They're already close to locking threads on the official board. Gnobrin posted that they're aware of issues with the class, yadda yadda.

Not much else to do now except wait and occasionally check to make sure it doesn't fall through the cracks.

There's not much they can do right now anyway. So many other things are broken that the devs are going to be pounding out fixes for the next month. (Honor and Service is completely screwed right now - at least they put NPCs back in todays hotfix).

So, yeah... muddle on through as best you can. I'm still finding fun, so I'm not too vexed.

FYI: I agree with the above. Epic isn't a complete suckfest, but could be improved

That's what I thought about most of the weapons until I saw the particle effects, then it made sense why they looked the way they did.

no matter what anyone says the increase to the taunts is pointless when Ass's and wizzy gets thier epics... no way 400 dps is gonna stop x2 ice nova... or quad attack and 30 percent stealth attack... maybe what they should put on it is...........

and gnobrin can fuck off.... they have known how fucked our class has been.... and they havent done jack shit to help us majorly...

were still subpar dps and subpar utility
