Default Siren's gift working?

I have been experimenting with the new epic and have found it procs very rarely indeed.

Siren'd gift - 9% chance to proc on a successful strike.

Infact I only saw it proc on one occassion over maybe 30 fights.. my eye of zet (3% proc chance on successful hostile spell) seems to proc a lot more.

Is this item working as intended?

It's even worse when the effect doesn't even proc.

I tested the weapon again and after maybe 15 fights of rapid casting, I failed to see a single proc.

/broken imo

I was in seb for about 2 hours after finishing the epic...I kept watching for some new effect to take place and after about 30 minutes (chain pulling the whole time by the way) I finally say the proc and icon so I kept watching for it and never saw it again.

It certaintly is not procing like it should.

Apparently they only test in controlled environments. Maybe a naked dev who sets it to 100% proc rate to confirm it's proc'ing? Maybe one who sometimes forgets to change the item back off 100% proc rate when they're done?

It's pretty damn obvious that some buff is blocking the effect. Whether it's an item proc or a group buff remains to be determined.

I saw this uber rare icon... once..

It looks like an "Exp potion" icon. A face with a bright star/shining thing on the forehead.

Please make an effort to bug this proc because I will an dthen maybe a developer can fix it.

hostile = debuffs and nuks
spell = nuks

now if only one of our spells has a chance to trigger it
thats another story

dev tested it shockwave

Spell attack is restricted to nukes only, whereas hostile spells includes debuffs. Thus there's a smaller set of spells to proc it.

But even then, it is proccing much less than it should. I've seen it twice during raids.

nuke hmm.
I think spell curse, hostage and catalystic mind don't count then or what?

Debuff ? from what i spam it only the debuff vs all magic during raids all other do dmg in one way or the other, so i don't think the spell table should be that small then.

But sadly it looks like only a small spell table can trigger it sucks big time
