Just wanted to put in a correction that the dirge increase is 36%, it used to be 42% but that was before the hate nerf. However, most tanks have the avatar bracelet, which gives passive 5%, or 7% for the new version.

Ah, yep, you're correct. I haven't had to box my dirge on raids in quite a while. So yes, if your guild hasn't killed an avatar, you can use almost all of your passive hate transfer.

Why does it seem that there's a generally constant trend in terms of - if your raid is cohesive and good, there is less need for a coercer overall, but as your raid quality drops, coercers become more and more worthwhile - more dps due to reactive procs, etc...

It's a pretty screwed up mechanic :P

on anything VP or avatars contested etc i go full heal crits etceteras mininum agi and no int line,

for t-t3 other stuff dps all the way and lately even get into a troub group and parse 3k + which is nice.


thoughtsnap is kinda nice specially when the mt dies and want to give the 2ndary tank a chance to pull agggro (guessing it should remain unspoken hopefully no nerf about it)

any group i am in always has unlimited power and 50% + at the end of most fights while other three groups are struggling to stay above 10%.

everyone in my guld calls me a battery so i guess thats my main job and the mythiak just reinforces that.. but once EVERYONE has their mythicals i really doubt power is going to be an issue for most fights maybe contesteds or trakanon ?

to say i really feeel "needed" on a raid is wishful thinking. a lot of the better guilds only tend to have one coercer there is probably a reason behind that. everyon knows that ily's have that self group casting buff so i dont; get to do any mezzing of adds either... thats a real shotgun blast to the face...

Honestly I wish we did! I've always been jealous of Coercers from what they did to Enraging Demeanor.

I'm willing to bet they'd sooner give you a transfer than do anything worthwhile with coercers. ;)
