So taking those two extremes, if you put it on 20 people, that's 300-1400 dps on ae'ing mobs.

The thing I wonder though...
Is while you might get a dps boost on certain mobs...how much do you lose having to stop your chain of casting to recast it on someone who has died? I mean, there are some avatar fights where the person might actually be out of my range or out of view (hooray retarded geometry), so I'd have to in theory move to recast on him/her, which is just wasted time.
And with some of the gear that's available now, I just wonder how much NEED there is for this. So while you can look at it from the perspective of extra dps...is your tank's aggro so bad that you need to throw hate redux on every person in the raid? I mean, honest question here -- every raid's different, obviously.
I dunno, I could be overthinking this, but I'm just not super-impressed with this change. I never played EQ1, and even I can appreciate that they just added a metric fuckton of tedium to the class.
It just seems like a lazy change. "Oh hey people liked removing concentration for haste, let's go buckwild and remove concentration on CROSS-RAID buffs! Woo!" =P
I know, I know, sorry for shitting in your cheerios.
As a final little note, they're changing the illusionist tandem thingy on that set...and again I wonder if they'll follow suit with the coercer version.
