this concludes evidence that revel is not in fact human.... or he is human connected to a 24hr coffee drip IV.

I've got a question about DPS, although it may not be specific to the Coercer class.

I play on Nagafen freeport side, and therefore don't have access to the Qeynos classes (illy, templar etc). Saying I was lucky enough to be put in the mage dps group, what would be the optimum setup for that group?

Yup, for Freep pvp, pretty much what Senelin said is as good as it gets. That or another wizard in place of the warlock.

Each Wizard means a cast gift, about 150 dps to your zonewide per cast as long as they stagger it correctly, as well as rays, about 75-100 dps or so. The Inquis provides a proc and reuse via fanatacism. Warlock would be propagations with some casting buffs. Troub is a no-brainer, of course.

Revel, you are a machine!! I am going to check out your casting order for the 15% reuse coercer. I was surprised at how different our orders were, and also how low on the list dissecting is. I have probably been wasting some time with that. Thanks for all the info!!

Hey Revel worth updating is that Forceful Headache acts like a separate spell and gets it's own separate boost from spell mod, but it uses 50% of the mod (like many SK spells) rather than 100% like other DD's or 33% like reactives/encounter nukes.

Also, all my testing has indicated that plus hostile spell mod increases the cap on spell damage that can be applied so may be worth updating a blurb about that.

What about Manaward? Is it now a protection of Manadrain or is it a protection of damage on the tank? Like the Soul ward of the Defiler only that we loose Mana instead of healt? Im confused -.-

It's SoulWard except it uses power.

Sanji reminded me something important I forgot to change/inform everyone about the Mind lind and Brainshock. Basically, an initial tick Brainshock takes 2 triggers of Tyrannous Mind but only does 1 trigger of damage. I discovered this a while back when figuring out why I personally was doing more Lash damage than Mind when clearly mind is the better spell. And of course the switch ocurred when I started casting Brainshock alot more often.

Anyway: This bug basically causes a loss of 3000 damage per Tyrannous Mind, which is bad. While I bugged it, and in the meantime adjusted my personal spell order, I couldn't figure out how to adjust the spell order here to compensate. Avoiding Brainshock entirely is not recommended, but if possible, you want to cast it when only 1 trigger of TM is left, or when it's down completely.

The best options to raise priority/cast instead of Brainshock are: Absolute Silence, Asylum, Dissecting Gaze or Ego Melt. Silence offers the best damage alternative, but may not be up every time you have a trigger of TM left. Redoing Asylum is probably your most likely option, given its recast. In some cases you can just flip Brainshock with the next spell, if you can think fast enough to do it, so that only 1 trigger of TM is left, since Hemorrhage generally eats 1 trigger, leaving only 1 trigger needed until you can safely cast Brainshock without damage loss.

So basically the best thing is just to let people know about this bug so you can try to avoid this as much as possible, although it's inevitable in some cases, especially long fights, to encounter this bug. It will definitely help your dps to avoid it even at the cost of losing a few ticks of Brainshock.

At least the good news is, this combination is the only one that triggers it, all other spells only use 1 trigger of Tyrannous Mind. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.
