I wondered around Chardok a bit but didnt know the zone so I never seen a named mob. Got bored and left there to head to Chelsith to give that a shot. Tried killing the Bbal'Gaz the Enthraller (the necro guy, dunno if its the right name) but for the life of me couldnt kill him due to some life/power drain spell he has. Tried to keep a stun, silence or mezz on him but that didn't seem to help. Then i decided to wonder around and killed the Blue Baron before logging off, he was an easy fight. Anyone got any advice for killing that necro type named though?

enthraller is teh enchanter - uthgok the grand devotor is the necro and yes he is soloable.

You seem like a smart person, so I hope you realize that when we talk about procs, we mean when they trigger off debuffs and stacking... It's fucking annoying when people just regurgitate that stupid line.

unless you just load up on procs and kill it with mezzes!

EDIT: I was actually able to do this to quite a few mobs during the time that praetor's guard was 100%

Yes, everything is stunnable. The "entrapped" are warlocks/casters.

If you pull them mob and then mez it, then root it, you can stack other debuffs and even if it proc's and breaks mez it's highly unlikely to break root too.

You should also remember that you're passing along information to someone who is asking for advice on getting the most out of the class solo. They may not be able to read your mind also, so being clear about the information you're providing is helpful. If you mean be careful of proc's breaking mez while debuffing, then say that.

I personally pull it, mez it, root it, re-mez if root proc'd and broke mez, walk up next to the mob and stun it, then proceed to land debuffs while my pet and I are attacking it. This has a side effect of completely ignoring the worry about a proc breaking mez.

So I reiterate, don't use proc's that dot and you'll be fine.

The Enthraller has the most hps of any of the 5 random named mobs and, as you've noticed, has a pow drain. If you clear the area around him you can have the pet eat the pull and possible mana drain.

You can also just mez him where he stands if you clear enough of the surrounding area, if you never let him out of stun then he won't be able to throw his charm or mana drain.

He's worth it though as he has the best loot table. The first time I solo'd him it took 19 attempts (I had him at 8% on the 3rd though and had an untimely stun resist). 475+ subjugation is really useful for him as he has a very high mental resist.

His ph, the subjugator, is the strongest pet for us in the zone, doing nearly all mental damage which stacks nicely with our debuffs. Can be annoying with regularly charm breaks though.

Thank you for the Enthraller info Harowen. I have yet to see him in the zone yet, always been a ph so far. What happened was I got the wrong name for the mob in question. The one I am having trouble with is The Grand Devoter necro type mob. Jibo suggested Cazic Thule and I am to figure out the rest, but I can't be assed to changed dieties for just one named. If it takes a Thule miracle or blessing then I can miss out on killing one named.
