Did they up the resistances of mobs in Chelsith? I was getting resists left and right. 3-6 in a row at times. This is very, very unusual.

Did not have a good time at all.

I didn't notice more resists than usual, but maybe I had good luck (or you just had excessively bad). I did notice that the mobs seemed to use their range attacks much more often and always on pull.

Yeah, it might have just been luck. I had a pretty bad day yesterday and am having one today, so luck is not my friend right now.

I did notice that the mobs do almost spam their ranged attacks now. Not too much of a problem if you are careful and keep the mezzes/stuns up though.

I just got an amazing amount of resists yesterday. To the point I could not believe it.

I kept checking my gear, stats and talents..thought maybe I broke something. Ah well, I shall try again tonight.

Well..I don't understand what I'm doing wrong.

I have all my +subjugation talents and +charm talent..but I'd say 3/5 of spells are getting resisted.

I have some +subjugation gear..to get an additional +10..but it doesn't help either.

I don't see how you would be able to hit these mobs at all if you were not wisdom specced.

Maybe my casting order needs some polishing too..I dunno.

This is what I usually do: HO > Intrepid Focus > Hemorrhage > Ego Torrent > Hemorrhage > Dysphoria > Hemorrhage or two > re-mezz and wait for stuns.

I tried working Shock Wave into the rotation, but sometimes mobs break out of stun early and continue to melee. Doesn't happen often, but one time is too many when you have a mob at 20% or so.

Any suggestions?

Well, this is basically my strat:

1. Pull, send pet in
2. Stun/Debuff: Intrepid Focus, Psyche
3. Do normal spell order (including dots): Hemo/Asylum/Brainshock
4. Restun: Dysphoria, Mindbend, Hostage
5. Ego Melt, Absolute Silence, Root
6. Re-position, Shockwave
7. Repeat steps 2-6 until pet dies.
8. If pet dies, depending on Mob's HP level, get a new pet or just finish it off with a Tash/Shockwave/Master Strike/Mez and Shockwave/Hemo/Root/Mez combo.

Cool, thanks Revel! You have a much more aggressive method than I have been using.

Also, what is this stun-breaking thing that keeps happening? The stun icon is still up on the mob..but he still runs for me. Can mobs just break out of stun randomly?

Mobs in chelsith can. They have an innate stun resistance, like the one that you get on the scale of the leviathan.

Lol..I think I am broken..

I simply can't do this because I get resisted way too much. Here's what has happened the past three rounds:

1. Start with stun, it gets resisted. Boss charges me, resists root. I get killed in one hit.

2. Started off pretty good, got him down to 60%. Resists stun, breaks root, charges me, resists next root. I die.

3. Another good start, breaks root, comes at me, gets rooted again. Breaks root within 3 seconds and all my control spells are in refresh. End of fight.

Is this just bad luck? I really don't get it.

Well, I do have masters. I don't have +subj gear, though. My roots never break quite that early, either. I do apply root alot when I have nothing else to do, but 3 seconds seems crazy.

I don't know what to say otherwise. Get alot of dispersion gear and try to tank?
