well i'm finally getting to where i have gear worth adorning. My question concerns +spell damage fabled adornments, for example on gloves. Currently I'm just shy of +600, and while I can't think of anything else to put on my gloves, except maybe agi for avoidance, which is of dubious value, the only other thing of any seeming use, is the +30 spell damage.

My question, is what worth if any does such an adornment have, when i'm pretty sure i'm really close to the cap at the present. Also, other than +crit adornments and anything that gives me more hp, can you recommend anything else useful.

By way of information, I am in a raiding guild that just recently cleared veeshan's for the first time. So I am speaking from a purely raider's point of view.

If you're at 600, you should shoot for another 200 or so spell damage, so the +30 on the gloves is worth it, if that's what you're going to stick with.
