The daimyo (大名, daimyō) were the most powerful feudal rulers from the 10th century to the 19th century in Japan. From the shugo of the muromachi period through the sengoku to the daimyo of the Edo period, the rank had a long and varied history. It was usually, though not exclusively, from these warlords that a shogun arose.

I guess that means you are betraying your coercer?

I don't raid (at least not yet) so I don't have much first hand experience to the problems there. All I do know is the Illusionist spell list makes me a little jealous, but that's okay. I still like my coercer most, but I understand why some don't anymore.

Well, on pvp, who knows how these changes would have come out. Maybe he still would have been screwed.

Good luck in either case. Betrayal's not final, so not much lost cept a few masters/adept 3's. If the changes do turn out well, there's nothing stopping you from coming back, but if they come out horribly, then you're safe.

As long as pvp'ing coercer have the cc effects they'll be fine, I'm sure.
As for the solo'ing pvp'ers, it depends a bit on what happens to c-mind and reactives, but again, it's the cc effects that are the most important.
Powerdrains were a nice addition for long group fights, but with RoK, power is plentiful for most classes anywho...

I wish I was still playing though. Reading about the upcoming changes makes me excited as fuck, and I'll defenitely be logging in, just to check the changes out.
