I was chatting to one of our guild coercers about spell changes and they told me that your able to give opinions and requests for changes...

I added the Coercer WW channel a couple of nights ago, joined, asked a question and got told it was stupid.

Can someone explain why this is a crappy idea?

Puppetmaster.

The Coercer is able to take control over small portions of a raid/group friends mind and use any of their free concentration slots to buff from.

Coercer targets raid/group friend, casts puppetmaster and for 15 seconds he has the view of the targetted character but all of his spells still on the hotbar and he can buff anyone in the characters group in the same way he would usually be able to his own but using the targetted characters conc slots. Buffs stay up until player death/target death/coercer death.

For what? Atm i run with agi/int buff and 4 dps buffs in my group with hardly a need for deaggro on anyone in the raid (they still dps like hell)

Also the most (not all) use every conc slot they have so i doubt there are many free conc slots in the raid at all.

Guard -Temp - Defiler - Warden - Coercer - Dirge
SK - Mystic - Inquis - Assassin - Swashy/Brig - Dirge

Assassins usually have 2/3 spare conc slots so if you could target the Assassin in the OT group and use his spare conce Slots to buff the OT group aswell, how is that not useful?

Talking about Puppetmaster. I don't think it's necessary to totally revamp this spell.

The way the spell is being used at the moment should be improved this way :
- If the target is a melee then the 3 summoned mobs do melee dmg for 20sec, like they do atm but with a little improvment.
- If the target is a caster, they stay at range and use ranged ability for 20sec.
- If the target is a healer, they don't do any dmg but they just cast group heal spells for 20sec.

This spell could require a good amount of mana and better would be the quality of the spell better would be the mini-pets abilities.

But this could create an issue for the mobs not being attached to a "general" class type. For thoses I don't have any example, maybe Epics are multi-class, I don't know...
But if this happens, why not to give standard spells/abilities to the 3 summoned mobs ? standard melee/spells/heal abilities ?

Only 2 buffs poss anyway: Dps and deaggro
Since it's the offtank group the deaggro is total useless there and that buff is raid wide anyway.
The only off the offtank group who could benefit of the dps buff are Mystic, inqui, sk and dirge.
Sk, Dirge and inqui is ok for dps i could think of.
Brig would be happy allrdy coz of dirge and inqui => ton of dps allrdy buffing more is useless.
Assassin heavy CA based, Dirge and inqui does it => useless to buff for a big dps boost.

As said the only thing from that would be that we can buff others deaggro and suffer dumpfire pet who can trigger reactive (when they hit) soon. And i would love that for some ranged fights prolly. Even the dps from Puppetmaster isn't that insane it still can be nice.

every swash has 2
every assasin has 3
ranger prob 3 as well

Experience dictates it will arrive before it should, in a condition it shouldnt be in. It will be allowed to retain such condition untill such a time as it becomes the accustomed norm. At which point it will be cleaved down with the skill of open heart surgery on the back of a Baja Racer midrace.

Even a cleaved down version will be an improvement though, I hope...
