ZOMG after all you did to the wall it's out for blood! fucking hilarious pett.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the damage scaled down on all the reactives (my guess is 60% of current), as well as either 1 spell being completely removed, or the effect being changed. In my mind it doesn't quite gel to have 3 spells that essentially do the exact same thing, except 1 is group.

Changes look nice except for Cataclysmic mind.. seems like a pure PvE friendly change to me.. i liked it the way it was for PvP, actually it was very good the way it was.. now every spell does the same thing.. triggers damage on a spell..

All going the same way? yes. Underpowered? Hell no, even for pvp!

I believe I stated on more than one occasion that if they let all these triggers go through it would be overpowered. But think about it. If Coercers reactives actually triggered now, like they are supposed to, would we be overpowered now? Maybe, maybe not.

But with the addition of cataclysmic mind as more dps that definately pushes us over the edge. The damage or the number of triggers has to be toned down or we will suffer nerfs in the next 3 LUs.

As opposed to the nerf it received for pure PvP reasons. You wont find much sympathy here as this started out a PvE game.

I see this change making the spell more useful than it's current form in PvP.

QFE, that's why I'm thinking if he resets Spell Curse back to normal, it's a step towards balancing the DPS.

One thing i dont want to happen is for them to nerf the recasts. If they do that how will we keep perpetuality up? I would rather them hit the number of ticks or the damage. If I had my way, it would be the damage to get nerfed. That way we can have steady damage going out which is always good for helping tanks with aggro.

Personally our DPS didn't need fixing. It was fine the way it was. With all these upgrades I will be at the top of the parse constantly, less if I die.

The only upgrades that should go live are Tash / Coercive Healing / Mana Ward / PossEs IF conc is removed with epic like Illus Pet. This would improve our utility greatly and that's all that we should need.

Even back in T7 I could parse 2k zone wide in some zones. With RoK I can now break 3k zone wide in 2 of the tier 1 zones and tier 3 and stay above 2,400 in all the other tiers and zones. Mind you this is in MT group not the mage group. That in my eyes is perfectly fine for DPS coming from a utility that's basically keeping the MT's groups power above 90% at all times.

Our utility up until I saw these changes was lacking and needed a bit of work. I see some good changes there, but all the DPS spells should stay the way they are now or at most -JUST- the enchanter changes and not all the Coercer reactive changes.

Bottom line for Coercers that -KNOW- how to DPS already and didn't betray already =p... this is WAY over powered. I personally hope only the utility changes go live and nothing else.

Sorry but reactives in their live state arent fine. They are fubar as is your idea of a utility class. This games mechanics do not make utility a requirement. They remember EQ1's hard learned lesson.

So if we cant have utility, the next best thing is DPS. And yea I do agree they over did it. But I doubt it will go live in that state. The one thing SOE is quick to do is nerf. They are never shy about that.
