If you don't know the Xygoz fight, he falls asleep then a group of NPC's spawn then become attackable.

I had Tyrannous precast and hit Shock Wave. Tyrranous was already refreshed, so I hit that then Spell Curse and my damage window was filled with Lash.

I don't think it's 5 triggers per mob. That's why I'm thinking it uncovered the old DoF triggering where it was unlimited triggers based on how many people that AE hit at that exact instant. But then again, 3 of those mobs took exactly 5 triggers. MORE TESTING!

Protector's, full zone, mt group again

8th place, 5% of total. We were getting customers for their mythical epic updates, so we had a lot of random noobs in raid.

Edit: Merge without Imzok gets me to 4.8k. I still need to hit Hemorrhage more, as you see from my low figures. I keep hitting spells that aren't up instead, for the lose.

Edit2: What Pett said about Spell Curse is correct. Old version also worked this way...it applies a debuff to 5 mobs and each mob it successfully lands on, uses their own triggers.

Wing 1 and most of 2, melee DPS group for the most part, kind of odd tonight with how people were (Paladin, brigand, inquisitor, me, bruiser, brigand #2 - don't ask, we were just filling up spots)

from the looks of it I need to be using my hostage way more. No tandem. Was hitting 4k regularly at the start of the zone, but as the night wore on I think debuffs weren't getting stacked as quickly, I was hovering more around 3k

Slightly improved Chamber of Destiny trash only

Group: Zerker, Dirge, Defiler, Templar, Fury, Me

Would be 6000 if my parser wasn't set to 4 seconds delay, bah.

As a side note, my stats were 742 spell damage, 76% crit (lower than usual, doing more spell damage tests) with choker/dark orb. I was just 8th place, 5% of total.

Here's a few of mine. Only recently started running my own parser so I'll get CoD and VP etc another time.

Always in the MT group w/ Guardian, Defiler, Templar, Dirge, and for these zones a Swash.
I also always have Tandem...otherwise I'd probably stab some Illy's O_o.

Had a pet for all three and used my choker on the trash for all of them, then for the whole zone in PR.

Korsha, forgot to put choker on at the start and died once or twice. Definately not my best.

Execution Throne Room. Pawbuster included.

Protector's Realm.

Still getting used to the new spell order and trying to remember to use Hemmorhage and the puppets but we'll see.

Nice parses! I'm surprised that the Possession pet did that much dps with all the ae's and such. I've toyed with it and had single fights with it reaching 700-800, but on some fights it just explodes.

I think your basic strategy for your spell order is great because you seem to get alot of dps from brainshock/asylum/gaze, as well as from your wicked wand. A few more hemorrhages would certainly push that up 50-100 dps. But, you probably won't quite see much dps gain from puppets with that configuration (long cast time, short duration fights). I don't see you casting silence at all though? Maybe you have some thoughts about it that I haven't considered, but I really recommend it because silence doesn't have a significant impact on most mobs (unlike stun) so there's no harm in keeping immunity up, and the damage is pretty fair. Also, your lash does more than your mind, which is just weird (to me!) Probably because of chain pulls?

I never ask for Dynamism, not because I don't love it, but because I personally get tired of people asking for buffs alot, so I hate doing the same to others. Coercers get as much as illusionists from the damage, but other mages are usually close enough in their gains (if they're not slacking) for me to not worry about missing out on the damage, since the raid dps is pretty close. I do get it most of the time, just not in the two most recent parses I posted.

For a change of pace, here's a Trakanon: (I got scrutiny once)

Well..

For the pet as far as ae's or living in general it actually seems to do a great job. It might be because I get MT buffs? but I always feel like I'm watching the Illy pets plop and my pet is still going strong ..but I could be wrong.

Reguarding silence I suppose my lack of use of it is a mix of not being used to casting it often and the fact that given its considerably long casting time in comparison to others I always found it benefits me more to cast Hemmorhage which is obviously up alot or Brainshock/Asylum. Guess that explains how I mash the dots in so much and get a good amount of dps from them. As it is now, silence is generally one of the last spells I get on the mob as I start with reactives, debuffs and DD type spells/dots. I have been trying to work it in more from time to time but haven't gotten the hang of it yet or really found a good place for it in my order. I'll play around with it more though and see if I can figure something out.

I noticed as you did that my Lash does seem higher then Dep Mind where as others seem the other way around. We do always chain pull so I'm not really sure, guess I just prioritize lash more in my order? There is a good amount encounter mobs in Korsha and PR so I do push lash alot then drop all my aoe spells so suppose thats it.

For Tandem, I usually get it without asking and considering with the new Illy epic they have more then enough conc to go around it shouldn't be a problem buffing other mages and yourself but I do understand where you're coming from in the way of pestering people for buffs. I don't mind it so much myself when others ask me for buffs but that happens pretty much never as I always have the same set up in mt and usually know when to use dehate etc.

On a side note I had a pretty good Trak parse the other night but I didnt have ACT downloaded so I'll have to track it down =/

Anyway sorry for blabbering.

heh, nice parses indeed. boy i wish i could waste 3 conc slots on a possessed pet. i'm too busy reapplying link on my tc'd wiz / assassin / ranger / warlock depending on the encounter.. recently i have broken away from it and have been giving myself and the dirge dps mod for extra dps on trash as our mt / ot have trak shield now but curious to know what mobs you possess and the ones that you possess are you including those fights in your parses? of course not every mob is non-aggro so i'm wondering for those that have tried it - what mobs you like to use and why.

ZW parse from Kor-sha tonight (except for the overking). We were all mad and doing pretty good DPS for us because we had just left razzle-frazzle-dangnabbit-Druusk not dead again.

I had a posessed pet throughout most of the zone. A chokadai for a while, and then one of the chokadai's masters. Both did about the same damage and were named Dino. The other coercer buffed instead of running a pet b/c he was in the scout group. I had the MT group (Zerker, Dirge, Defiler, Templar, Warden, Me.) I also had Tandem and a fair chunk of alacrity love.

Merged(24): (28:00) 70973726 | 42246.27
