One thing about root nuking that of course you've figured out is that coercer's don't get a snare, unlike other mages, which makes our root a tad more dangerous to be using.

The 5% chance to break on our root is pretty leet though. Especially if you're duo'ing with say, a wizard or warlock and you both root it.

That is true, it's way reliable than other roots.

Ya, a snare would be nice. Don't laugh at me, but I went down the Wis line so I could get the plus to subj while I level up and it seems to have really helped out. As long as i'm using a ranged pet it almost always holds for the duration.

I'm looking forward to getting the other stuns so I can change up tactics, it looks more challenging using the stun method as well as faster. I couldn't believe how fast some of those mobs dropped in Fnar's video.

It really looks like I'm losing out on a considerable amount of DPS using so many points in the Wis line.. has me thinking of respeccing.. it's just nice having that extra subj at the lower levels since there is so little equipment with +subj at the lower tiers.

Well for me its the easiest way to solo some nameds when i do the follow:

Hold Mind -> Intrepid Focus -> Tyrannous Mind -> Intrepid Focus -> Tashiana -> Spell Curse -> Hemorrhage -> Shockwave -> Hemorrhage -> Dysphoria -> Master Strike (if available) -> Hold Mind -> wait til shockwave is up cause then all the stuns are up too -> Intrepid Focus -> Tyrannous Mind .....

Most of the time it works great. Sometimes the mezz resist but thats okay.

Normally I try and setup a mob first so I don't get resists. I use no proc gear to make sure not to break mezz while I'm debuffing.

Mezz >> Root >> Resist Debuff >> INT Hex Doll (for more resist debuffs) >> Hostage >> Spell Curse >> TyrrMind >> Tash

Right after Tash lands then I roll with my stun cycles and DPS, but I've found with this setup it allows for a HUGE spike of DPS right as you start and tend to cause a lot less resists with all those debuffs on.

Hope this helps.
