Hate transfer stack?

Had a brief discussion last night with our OT paladin last night during a korsha raid. Since the changes to the coercer he has been placing admens on me for single target. During the over king fight he swapped it from me to the warlock in group to help with the adds and asked that i put my hate transfer on him. I mentioned that I've had it on him for most of the raid. There was no bard, swash, or assassin in group

He was under the impression that amends does not stack with any transfer, where as i was under the impression that any of them stacked, just that there was a cap of 50% for hate transfer and 50% for a hate gain. So with the master version of amends being ~41% he would have 50% for the transfer and and additional 15% hate gain yeah i know only adept III, my luck sucks

I was treating amends as a transfer even though he casted it on me. So the question comes down to am i completing off base on enraging demeanor stacking with amends?

They stack. The way they stack is a bit odd. Basically if you have 41% Amends on 1 person, and 15% transfer from somebody else, you'd really have 13.4% from the 15% transfer and 36.6% from Amends.

If You were a Guardian with the Trak Shield(10% from all) had a Swash with Mythical, and a Coercer with M1 ED, you'd have 10% each from 2 Priests and Dirge, 36% from Swash, and 26% from Coercer if there was no cap, add in the cap and you really have 5.4% from each Priest/Dirge, 19.6% from Swash, and 14.2% from the Coercer.

Basically how it works is like this, you have x, y, z transfers. If x+y+z>50, then 50x/(x+y+z)=x's real transfer.

I've got a question about the order in which the transfer happens. If I was to place link on myself, would less hate go to the tank? Or is the hate transfer applied before the dehate of link?

My practical testing shows that less hate goes to the tank, i.e. hate decrease applies first. It would be better if it were otherwise, since the result would be the same for us but more/same hate on the tank.

So does the same 50% rule apply to hate decrease?

Yes, 50% is the cap of decrease or increase. There is the separate cap of 50% transfer/transferred.
