my proc items never break a mezz

proc items (when they proc on a mezzed mob) always break mez, but provided the spell you cast is another mez the dmg is applied before the new mez, meaning the mob gets broken and then remezzed instantly..

Just last night I cast obliterate psyche on a mezzed mob. My BCG proc'ed and broke the mez. So yeah, procs can break mez.

as long as proc is not a dor you should be ok then. Proc only lands if mezz is successful and if successsful proc lands before teh mezz fully lands so you will know instantly if you mezzzed if a proc lands.

Procs do break mezz, but on hostile spells other than mezz. Eg, casting Hostage on a mezzed mob with BCG or Praetor's equiped would break it if it proced, a thing that's got my killed many a time
