It does still work. I have a macro setup to equip the Force armor for buffing.

Same, when you take off the set it doesnt show in the buff anymore but if you ask the person still gets the dps increase.

Speaking of which... I heard that they fixed the VP set and Mestro Robe from doing that to where you NEED to have it equip now for the effect to stay active.

I confirmed this on the 6 set piece for VP, but I didn't want to waste DKP on the Mestro robe if that is the case, because then it's becically worthless, so I've passed on it thus far.

Anyone know?

I used the 5-piece bonus on my Illusionist for the +7 to Rapidity. Note that the bonus drops when you zone if you aren't still wearing it, so only buff it in zone or be prepared to re-equip and re-buff if you zone.

Both the robe and the 6 set from VP still work, confirmed it just a minute ago. Like Agressiv said, make sure you reapply it after you zone sometimes it doesn't carry over.

Everything still works so far, including the soh robe. P.S., I hate zoning and rebuffing when the tank does not even pause 10 seconds to pull a mob.

Ok... so the "effect" is still there but the actual words on the buff go away. Good to know. Isn't that kinda buggy? lol

I did test this again today and yes it DOES still effect my cast timers but Soothing loses the "reduces cast time" in green once the item is removed. I just assumed that also included the buff itself because there's not physical icon.

Thanks for clearing that up! Now I have to go make new hotkeys. >_<

Actually I've been having this issue as well and it happens to me even if I don't ever change gear. I seem to experience it whenever I zone. I end up having to rebuff soothing sometimes to get the cast haste from the 6 set back. The oddest part for me is that it doesn't happen every time, only sometimes. I know I'm not changing any gear because I don't have Masta P's hat yet so I just roll with Sorcerous Gloves and the other 6 set pieces all the time on my left side.

Yes its buggy but I would say the fact that the bonus works at all without the items equipped is a bug in itself so I'm not gonna complain about tool tips or the whole switching three sets of gear to buff everytime I zone thing
