Possess Essence M1, is it worth it?

The title says it all. What exactly are the benefits of gettting this M1 as opposed to just the Adept 3?

More hp, more damage. It's worth it if you have mythical, because that's the only time you will use it often in my experience. The concentration is not worth it in most other cases, or charm is better for other times.

Off the top of my head... AD3 dirge pet gives 91 str/agi, 45 parry, and a melee proc for 300-500ish, M1 dirge pet gives 106 str/agi, 60 parry, and a melee proc for 450-700ish. I imagine the Troub pet would be nicer, if'n I could ever find one.

I'm so glad I picked up Possesion M1 for 30 gold back when I was level 50...
