But what are we supposed to do? None of our other "core abilities" have meaning anymore. Power management is not exactly an issue anymore, and none of our other affects are worth anything other than hate transfer and peace of soon-to-be-nerfed.

They really should just give us all a big red button that says DPS on it. It would really make it easier for all the classes to know where they stand when you can take silly things out of the equation like gear and player skill. This way that crappy wizard or scout can stop crying for a nerf to a well played coercer.

Or how about an instant DPS debuff that scouts and wizards get that they can cast on the chanters? Lets say minus 40% DPS to chanter group member. This way instead of calling for nerfs that lower the entire groups survivability you have that ability right at your fingertips.

Yeah, new Fnar is terrible! Aside from the Robe change, no other chances have been announced. No one really will know since we won't even get the fighter changes, which have been intended to go in since the expansion, until April. We'll have 3 months of no game updates, basically.

thats true, because coercers are underplayed class there is much more ppl who excels in knowing this character, every single slacker is leveling wizzie and hope that pushing fusion or comet once a minute is making them kings of parse.
i play coercer about 3-4 yrs i know well times before gu45 where as coercer i was trying so fucking hard to parse 2k+ zw. now ppl says that our 3 reactives are "fire and forgot" buttons every 15s for 10k zw. i challenge every single coercer hater for leveling up an alt (it takes 2 day to be 1-80 with buddy account) and try to parse only third of my dps. nobody do that they are just slacking on their wizzies/summoners and talking trash about class they dont even know.
i think that our competence and years of overwatching pushing us to be better and better while tunning our equip/spellorder for maximazing our character. other classes are just ok with fact that they are marked as t1 dps and nobody cant outparse them even in ninja afk. if that happens, they are calling for nerfs

Ya, i'm really sorry about that new Fnar. I've had him in group once or twice and he really stinks at the class, has no clue. He keeps denying that he's not the original one too.. People who remember you, ask why he left the game and he comes up with wrong reasons. :/

That is really sad that people lie about shit like that. I have a few RL friends that still play, I'm gonna have to log on next time I'm over and screw with him (or her).

But yes, I quit about 8 months ago now because of 2 reasons mainly. First, the main reason, RL was taking over and the band I am in was starting to take up a lot more time. Secondly I wasn't impressed with the "upcoming expansion" at the time and my attendance in Ascendant was to low to be a first tier bidder on loot.

So what ever this punk is saying, feel free to make fun of him (or her) for being lame. *nods*

The most people don't even know that until our major change last year we've been cutted by system of our dmg spells. Reactive was depending on our target.. not on our self. I don't know any other class which had to deal with that shit. So to improve our dmg there was only on way... to learn the class better. There was no easy going button, knowledge and timing of our targets attacks was major issue so we could be under top5 or somewhere next to healers.
Since this major change, means we don't need any longer an active target (which needed no other class ever) but our knowledge is still high because of our past history and thats why good coercer are a pain in the ass.
Thats why other classes wants to have us change because otherwise those guys had to learn they're class better. To get your class done you have to know or to learn how to play your class and don't cry about other classes.
