Vp set gear or TSO shard gear?

wich of these is best? VP gear have no critmit while the shard gear has.
Vp gear has alot more hp and power and resist on them. ppl is saing i should aim for shard gear more than vp gear, i got 3 pieces of vp gear so far.

so im turning to u seasoned raiders and pvpers, which of these would you go for.

we dont raid TSO instances as of yet, except for mad crusaider.

If you aren't raiding much in TSO, you don't need the crit mit. Just wear whatever gives you the best total DPS, or perhaps, wear a VP 6-set for the healers if you are in the MT group for things like Trakanon or Byzola.

I reply here, because I'm going through a similar issue. It's been tough for me to decide what to wear for our progression fights lately. Our guild is capable of getting 4-sets of TSO gear, but the RNG has been terribly unkind, and all I have is the bracers from that set. I have the full 7 pieces of VP set gear, but also some really lovely DPS cloth like the HoDD and the dark mail gauntlets.

We're working on Tythus mainly at the moment. Should I wear:

1. VP 6-set and the RodP, giving me only 10% crit mit purely from stats?

2. VP 6-set and the TSO bracers giving me 15% crit mit but losing the stoneskin proc, which seems to protect me from a lot of the AoEs.

3. A mix of DPS gear I already own, modified slightly to bump resists and survivability in places, including the RoDP for the stoneskin, and the legendary TSO set shoulders, and the TSO bracers for 17% crit mit, Stoneskin and decent DPS. But losing the 15% healer spell haste from the 6-set.

4. Suck it up and buy more legendary shard crap because my stupid TSO patterns aren't dropping and crit mit is holding up our progression?

VP gear is better than the TSO legendary shard armor for enchanters. The legendary shard armor is a poor choice for both survivability and dps, as the VP gear has much higher hitpoints as well as offensive stats.

The amount of crit mit from the legendary shard items does not make them worth buying. As noted, they have awful HP amounts and only average mitigation/resists.

For Cawti, if you're having trouble living on Tythus, then you should try #3. Unless you already have it, I would recommend to go back to Chelsith and try to get the AE avoid tablet, the Edict. While the duration on it is really short, you are bound to miss at least 1 of the 3 AEs. 5% crit mit is just 5% less damage against critical hits, if you're getting hit for a crapton, then you need more than that to survive, like HP and mitigation. Hopefully, you'll get better luck with the shard patterns.

i heard SOE were implementing smartloot on the raids in coming times, any truth to this?

because its really quite sad seeing people selling patterns already when not even the raiders alts need them.

Not on TSO fabled set armor..... soooo many alts have more TSO set pieces than my main.

100% certain TSO sets are not smart.
