They added a tso raid 5 set bonus of Magical Affliction onto both chanter raid sets, it did 900-1500 approximately at 2.0 rate plus a debuff. It's pretty decent (should be approximately 150-170 dps), but doesn't make 5 pieces worth wearing except for survivablity still.

i wonder if they would be open to changing the -hate to something else on the helm to make it more usable

or copy all other mage helms and give it more spell crit

I grow tired of all other mages getting nice boosts in gear while ours are either nerfed or increased very little.

You're not the only mage getting the same little increase(although we did escape the nerf, somehow). It is pretty stupid our robe remains the same, and our legs only get 1 spell crit bonus? Yet other pieces get 2 spell crit bonus or 2 base spell damage.

Then we have our 5-set, others get 5 base spell damage, we get this proc? Their robe gets 5 spell crit bonus, we get nothing? Their legs get 2 spell crit bonus, we get 1 spell crit bonus? Their Shoulders get 10 base spell damage, we get 6?

I mean, this is just getting old, yeah enchanters might do too much dps, but why do you want to nerf us through gear? Next thing you know, Sorceror/Summoner only gear to prevent us from even bothering with their gear.

I really don't get this idea they have about giving us terrible set gear and then expecting us to wear it.

Do they really think we're too lazy or dumb to swap gear around based on the survivablilty/DPS needs of the moment? It's particularly silly to have the coercer set this bad. My group has 3 healers! I can run around basically nekkid and still live through everything we pull right now except Tythus.

The enchanters that are that dumb can't parse ahead of a smart dirge anyhow, so what's the problem?

i thought you could turn in pattern plus current legendary t2 shard armor to get fabled or you could turn in shards plus pattern... did i get that wrong?

The new set from lavastorm requires a new pattern, shards, and your old greater shard piece.

The TSO Fabled set from regular x4 raids is still just pattern, shards and plat.
