I only get into the mage group on occasion when we are doing palace trash. I don't expect it. However, the utility we provide in the MT group is unmatched. CH, Power (especially on fights like Xebnok) and our Hate Transfer are great. Yes, in the mage group, we are basically leeches. Might make the ranger, brigand, or troub happy with the DPS buff, but thats about it. I usually put my hate transfer on my pet if I am there.

Look at the parse thread, you'll see what I can do in the mage group, and I didn't even have UT or TC. While in the MT group, people have finally caught up on their AA's and some gear so I'm no longer #1 on the parse. But I'm pretty sure I've been at #2 on all parses, if not #3.

Right, well the point was that it's basically a trade-off. We have plenty of utility in the MT group (which is why we're always stuck there) where as in the mage group we have little utility but increased DPS. I don't see a problem with trading utility for DPS situationally.
