At least with the hate meter you have a warning? to Trak's Gaze the dang mob. Though still sometimes you just can't react fast enough.

Can someone pls post the spell description? In german version it means that it procs when you and your target are casting, max. 3 times. Which would mean that, if I cast it on someone, i can make max. 3 casts and my target als well which would make it 6 procs.

Why should someone post them when the german description is exactly the same?
All you need to do is read carefully ;)
He said he precastet it on a Warlock in an Encounter-Fight ....
Now look at the german Spell-Description:
The Answer is Yes ... it will trigger on every target of an Encounter Spell reducing the Amount of triggers only by 1 ;)
It's the same with your Encounter-Spells triggering Despotic Mind ;)

at least this is how I was able to recognize it in the past - if I'm terribly wrong would someone old and wise enough be so gentle and correct me :)

I mean something else... it's saying that I AND my target can do 3 spells max. which would mean I cast 3 spells = trigger 3 times AND my target can cast 3 spells and would trigger ANOTHER 3 times which would make it 6.

Sry to get You wrong ....
As you can see my Server is Innovation - the second german-language Server and I'm familiar with the problem as well ... let's just say - forget about the text-description ...

I could flame against the translation - or even the live translation which is producing some of the Lagg our Servers/ We experience ...

If you take the Words in the german translation literary it would only trigger when you ( the Coercer ) and your target ( the person you have placed Despotic on ) both succesfully cast a hostile Spell on the Enemy oO - so still only 3 triggers but much more complicated trigger-source ... this does not only seem nonsense - but it is nonsense :) ... or is it not ?

Yeah, sounds like that's a really, REALLY bad translation. There are only 3 procs, and it's based on the target of the spell. So if you cast it on someone else, it will trigger on the target of their next 3 successful hostile spells. If you cast it on yourself, it will trigger on the target of your next 3 successful hostile spells. But if you cast it on someone else, you don't both get 3 procs.

I'm not sure if I'm reading this right, but DM counts an AE spell [that makes contact] as if it were individual spells cast onto each of the encounter mobs.

[Ie: 5 Encounter Mobs get hit with an AE (green) spell. DM will trigger on 3 of those 5 mobs. Even though you only cast 1 AE, it will trigger all three triggers onto an encounter of 3 or more mobs. An AE cast on a 2-mob encounter will leave you with 1 trigger left.]

Maybe you guys were saying this, but it was quite confusing.

I remember this different... you cast DM on you, you have 3 mob encounter, you cast 1st ae = all mobs gets hit by DM proc but only 1 counter less etc.

Someone wrote it here in coercer forum, just don't remember where it was.

Just got back after a break - if I'm in a group, target the mob and just cast it (no macro) who does it go on? The mobs target?
