Icon7 Is there any way to keep pets from AOEing ?!?!

I can't stand this "feature", every pet I charm or PE ends up AOEing the entire room or area I am trying to fight in. It makes the spells near useless in most situations.

I'm hoping I'm missing something, is there a way to keep the pet from AOEing?

Not that I've found. Just have to battle through it or pull to an area where the aoe won't get adds.

Why would you ever want to prevent, say, one of the Shin knights in guk from aoe'ing? They are awesome at pulling and killing the entire zone.
