What I'm trying to find out is, how many of you are still specced for it and how many have actually opted out.. And I'm not talking about those of you with 200 AA, I'm talking 160-180 or so.. Once at 200 I might actually re-spec for it again, who knows.

I'm at 183 AA, raiding, though barely ever MT group, mostly OT group. Not even our MT Coercer is running it anymore, and he is at 200 AA.

Can healers really give me crap about it? And if so, should I give a damn?

It's not worth running, most healers are at 100 Crit.

Ask your healerswhat their crit is at, if it's below 90 i would, especially if you are in MT group but even in OT group it's good since in many encounters the line is blurred between MT and OT.
Im running it, and my healers have thanked me for it.

Same as above, I'd ask some of the regular healers you're grouped with what their crit is at. Although, I never ask, I just leave the points in it just in case.

I haven't been spec'd for it since KoS, hasn't been much of an issue.

Well the alternative is the Strength line, which is useless in most places as you can't really melee anyway (and even then you'd have maybe 3 points in the best dps skill), or the wisdom line... and we all know how much mez is useful in raids.

So I keep it by default, lol.

It was definitely one of the skills I specced out for while I was building my TSO aa tree around the level you're describing. So basically I agree with everyone else that it's better than the other choices, but far from necessary to a coercer spec.

i´d say you still need it speced if you run through instances with pickup grps. not everybody is raidgeared and after all we´re still supposed to be supporters :-).

and if you regular healers have 100% crit already well good for them then they can put on some dps gear. although it might take some effored to convince them to dps hehe
