troub dehate + link

How useful is it, to cast link on somebody in a troub group? I've had one guild tell me not to bother, and now another telling me they want it. So i'm curious what the dehate cap is. I would figure it to be 50%, but dont think i've ever seen a figure listed.

The dehate cap is 50%, so it only helps a bit. If you have the conc and its on a warlock on a large AE fight for example, its more useful than casting one of your group buffs.

Basically if someone is still pulling aggro with troub dehate, there's not much harm in putting on them unless there's multiple others pulling aggro. There's about 16% you can still add onto troub dehate, assuming they're not wearing any gear. Always better to be safe about it, when you usually have options.

Thanks. that's the answer i was expecting, but I just didn't know for sure what the dehate cap was. That and I figured you guys would be able to give me a good answer.

There's the added benefit that if the person can live through getting struck, they potentially shed a hate position.
