I have, I think I misunderstood. I didn't think we were able to powerheal more than one group at a time. The only reason it was weird is that, as I mentioned, I've healed my own group and once in a while I'll see the message and graphic that I've healed someone from another group in the raid, but not the entire second group, only 1 or 2 members, possibly proximity based? No other coercer, and the log says my name as the manaflower. Weird.

Manaflow has been acting up a bit for a while now. A few months ago the spell would increase the power of everyone in the raid regardless of who you cast it on but they fixed that. I too noticed Manaflow returning power to my own group when casting it on a different group within the raid, but they appear to have fixed it again. At the moment the spell only apprears to be doing what it's supposed to do - increase the power of your target and their group by 10%.

Weird, it was acting odd again tonight during a raid. I have a macro that targets myself, casts mana flow, and targets the previous target (I also have a button to target other groups in the raid). When I cast mana flow on myself my group would get mana flow, but a random person nearby from another group would also get mana flow. Weird stuff.

To cast manaflow on yourself you don't have to change targets.
It's much easier done as a simple macro.
Unequip your mythical, pick the manaflow spell on your spell panels (pure spell, no macros), make a macro and type your name in the target line. Save the macro, equip the mythical.
Now you can cast manaflow on yourself with this macro regardless of your current target.

Note that you will have to make another macro (say like /r Manaflow on %T's group!) with your mythical without a target specified to be able to cast manaflow on anybody else in the raid except you.

Pretty much the same thing except I just have target_self in my macro. I also have target_previous so my target instantly goes back to the MA or whoever it was on, very very convenient instead of clicking. I also do have another macro for targeting another group. It's just nice to do it with only one click.

I'm still curious if anyone else mana flows one group and gets a mana flow to random non group raid member?

Profit is nice for this ... but there is an easier way to cast Manaflow on yourself ...

/useabilityonplayer [player name] [spell name]

example:

/useabilityonplayer Anjelakus Mana Flow

I actually have one for each grp so that if there is a reason for power management issues I can quickly hit them with a grp flow and never skip a beat on dps.

I used to have similar buttons on my Troub for Jcap, but it was a pain in the arse editing it depending on who was in which group. I've always got the raid window up and in clear view anyway so it's not really an issue to flow through it for me

The only things I click with a mouse during a fight is Tashiana, Peace of Mind and a 20-sec healing buff with announcement for the raid. The rest is done with the numeric keys plus Alt/Ctrl keys.
